Spice today announced its latest product, the Stellar Pad Mi-1010 tablet. The tablet is equipped with an HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.5Ghz dual core processor. There’s also a quad core GPU on board. The tablet is one of the few models running Jellybean 4.1 in India as of now. Spice has announced that they plan to launch range of Android Smartphones in the Stellar Series mid-December. The company launched 3 smartphones in the stellar series, Spice Stellar (Mi-425), Stellar Horizon (Mi-500) and Spice Stellar Craze (Mi-355) earlier this year. Spice has also said that these phones would come in very strategic and aggressive price points. So we can expect a tough competition between Spice and other local OEMs like Karbonn and Micromax, since these companies have launched several affordable Android Smartphones recently.
