Acer might launch Acer CloudMobile Smartphone at MWC

There are number of beautiful Android handsets available in the market but not all of them are attractive enough to catch your eye. I personally believe that Xperia Arc is probably the most beautiful smartphone yet, but it seems that I might need to reconsider that. Acer is planning to launch the Acer CloudMobile at the Mobile World Congress, which is an amazing phone with jaw-dropping design, as you can see the image above, it will make you fall in love with the design. The device won iF design award and it will be launched around Q2-2012 in North America and China first, then later in other countries. Vodafone announces HTC Velocity 4G Europe’s first LTE device

Almost 4 years ago, LTE (Long Term Evolution) was launched and right now it’s available in several parts of the world, and it’s available in USA via Verizon and AT&T. Now LTE is finally arrived in Europe as Vodafone Germany commercially launched it in Düsseldorf, Germany – Along with Europe’s first ever device known as HTC Velocity 4G (HTC Vivid 4G), and it will be available earlier next month. LTE will be available in all over Germany by late 2012, covering 90% of the country, and they hope to reach 16 million households.

MediaTek MT6575 introduces low – mid range Android platform

Semiconductor manufacturer MediaTek  announced its 3rd generation platform for low – mid range Android devices.  The MT6575 platform offers a 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor, a proven 3G/HSPA modem and runs the latest Android v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

The chipset which will find its way in mid range handsets can decode 720p video streams. Upto 8MP cameras are supported and screen with qHD resolution. In industry-standard benchmark testing, the MT6575 offered over 35% improvement for browser applications and over 20% improvement in graphics capabilities for gaming when compared to other chipsets in the segment offered by competitors.

Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 heading to MWC

GSMArena has got hold of a promotional image of an upcoming Samsung handset. The Galaxy Mini 2 or the S6500 is expected to be unveiled at the upcoming Mobile World Congress. The phone is going to be another lower end Android phone and will slot in between the Galaxy Y , Galaxy Ace.

HP releases Android code for Touchpad

Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet to get ICS in spring

Lenovo introduced one of the most well built and feature packed Android tablets last year based on the Honeycomb operating system. Verizon Motorola Droid 4 Price and Release Date Leaked

A month ago, USA’s largest mobile phone network Verizon Wireless introduced the Motorola Droid 4; their successor to the famous Droid Series. HTC to introduce white Sensation with Android 4.0 in March

The Sensation was HTC’s best device last year, featuring the first asynchronous dual core processor on a smartphone. Though the device was good and had a great build quality it did not sell well against the Samsung Galaxy S 2. But this does not stop them from bringing out a white version of this new device and the best part of it is that it will come with Android 4.0 out of the box.

Valve makes it official, removes the beta tag from Steam for Android

It has been many days since the Stem application for Android was in beta. Many people including me got the invite to join in and test it out, the application was quite stable though there were a few bugs while chatting and sometimes lagging on my Galaxy Nexus but now Valve has announced that Steam app for Android is available for everyone to use.

Samsung’s official UAE website reveals the Galaxy S III
