Samsung expands One UI 9 beta to Galaxy S25 series

Samsung rolled out the One UI 9 beta program, built upon Android 17, starting with the flagship Galaxy S26 series back in May. Now it has announced the expansion of its One UI 9 beta program to a broader selection of smartphones starting this September.

The upcoming phase extends testing access to both recent foldables and previous-generation premium models. Eligible devices include:

  • Galaxy Z Fold7
  • Galaxy Z Flip7
  • Galaxy S25
  • Galaxy S25+
  • Galaxy S25 Ultra
  • Galaxy S25 FE

The expanded beta will be available across select markets, including India, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

The One UI 9 beta program provides users with early access to upcoming software features and interface adjustments ahead of the official public release. In turn, participant feedback allows Samsung to identify software bugs, assess system performance, and optimize stability across different hardware configurations.

Device owners in eligible regions who wish to participate can register directly through the Samsung Members app. Once registered, beta software builds will be distributed over the air as they become available.
