Apple CFO Peter Oppenheimer to retire in September

Apple has announced that Peter Oppenheimer, the company’s senior vice president and CFO, will retire at the end of September 2014. He joined Apple in 1996 as controller for the Americas, and was promoted to vice president and Worldwide Sales controller and then to corporate controller later. He will retire after 18 years of service.
