Nothing headphone (a) teased ahead of launch on March 5

Nothing is gearing up for a major hardware refresh next week. Scheduled for March 5, 2026, the London-based tech brand will host its “Built Different” event. Alongside the Nothing Phone (4a) series, the company has confirmed the launch of Nothing headphone (a) at the event.

Nothing Headphone (a): A Vibrant Audio Expansion

The teaser image showcases a bold, bright yellow finish paired with a textured, metallic-styled rim and Nothing’s signature dot-matrix typography. This confirms that Nothing is leaning heavily into expressive colors for its new “(a)” tier.

Recently spotted on Singapore’s IMDA certification database under the model number B186, the Headphone (a) is positioned as an accessible alternative to last year’s premium Headphone (1).

What we know so far:

  • Design & Build: To achieve a lower price point, the Headphone (a) will transition to a polycarbonate shell while still retaining a stripped-back version of Nothing’s iconic transparent design.
  • Colorways: Joining the yellow seen in the teaser are rumored pink, black, and white options.
  • Availability: Pre-orders are expected to open on March 5, with wider retail availability beginning March 12.

Nothing’s March 5 event looks poised to shake up the mid-range market with eye-catching design and bold color choices.
