LG Optimus Pro QWERTY Android phone Price Revealed for India

The LG Optimus Pro C660 that was announced this July is now available for pre-order in India. This phone was spotted in Italy before it was officially revealed in Italy. This phone runs on Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread) and features 800 MHz processor. IDC : Mobile Market in Western Europe Q2 2011 – Samsung, Apple, HTC top Smartphone vendors by shipments


According to recent report by research firm IDC (International Data Corporation), the Smartphone sales in Western Europe is more than the feature phone sales in Q2 2011. The feature phone shipments were down at 29% to 20.4 million units in 2Q11, while smartphone shipments increased 48% to 21.8 million units compared to Q2 2010. Bada 2.0 coming to all Samsung Wave devices

Samsung’s twitter account has let out the news that Bada 2.0 will be rolled out to all Samsung Wave devices including the low end Wave 525 , 523 models. The new version of Bada will be available starting Quarter 4 in Europe.

Mysterious Blackberry device shows up in China

Over at MaxPDA forum , a person has put up images of what appears to be a never before seen Blackberry device. While the poster claims it to be a 9980 , nearly everything on the device aligns with the Bold 9900. The design is particularly peculiar as it is unlike anything that RIM has done so far with their devices.

In surprising turn of events, HTC has sued Apple this time

Apple has been suing HTC from a long time for infringing various patents, just recently we had heard Apple telling that the whole idea of Android was taken from Apple because Andy Rubin who is the godfather of Android used to work for Apple some 20 years back, but this was not used in the case as Andy Rubin does not really work for HTC. Now HTC has had it enough and with the help of Google are trying to sue Apple.
