What’s on my Nokia Lumia 800 Windows Phone ?

I have been using Windows Phone for roughly 6 months now and yes, I really like it. WP, although not perfect, has some features that really got me. There is room for improvement, and I’m perfectly happy in going that route, watching it grow and evolute. After the rather mediocre HTC Trophy I’m now using the Nokia Lumia 800, which simply is the best Windows Phone out there, period.

One of the discussion points I have always faced, has been “but there are no apps on Windows Phone”. Well, i call it nonsense here. The Windows Phone Marketplace is constantly growing, and is getting filled with not only apps from the known brands, but also quality 3rd party applications, with some really cool ideas. Since people are still learning and are getting into Windows Phone since Nokia has joined the party, I thought it’d be a nice idea to put all my currently installed apps together, and wrap them up into a nice post. Microsoft launches Windows Phone 7.5 in India

Microsoft has launched Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) in India that has new Metro UI, Live Tiles and Hubs. The application icons have been replaced by Live Tiles on the Windows Phone start screen that offers real-time updates from the Web such as news,  applications,  appointments or the status of friends. Samsung Omnia W announced with Windows Phone Mango and 1.4 GHz Processor

Samsung has announced Samsung Omnia W, their first handset to feature Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango). The phone has 3.7 inch Super AMOLED display, 1.4GHz processor and 5 MP Auto focus camera with LED Flash and a VGA video calling camera. The Windows Phone Mango has Windows Phone People Hub that has built-in social networking services like Windows Live, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. It also has Marketplace Hub, Office Hub, Game Hub, and Picture Hub, Music & Video Hub – powered by Microsoft Zune. AT&T To Offer Three New Windows Phone Mango Devices In Q4 2011

AT&T recently announced that the company will offer 3 new smartphones running on the new Windows Phone 7.5 OS, code-named as “Mango”. The new phones are Samsung Focus S, HTC Titan and Samsung Focus Flash.

AT&T currently offers 4 smartphones based on the Windows Phone 7 Operating System – HTC HD7S, HTC Surround, LG Quantum and Samsung Focus. AT&T recently announced that, the company will offer 3 new smartphones running on the new Windows Phone 7.5 OS, code-named as “Mango”. The new phones are Samsung Focus S, HTC Titan and Samsung Focus Flash. Existing Windows Phone 7 customers will get the much awaited Mango update during this fall. If the Windows Phone Dev Podcast is to be believed then we can expect the WP7 Mango roll out to begin sometime next week. The awaited update brings major improvements with the biggest being support for multitasking.

Fujitsu IS12T – World’s first Windows Mango Phone with 13.2MP camera


Fujitsu has launched the world’s first Windows phone 7.5 (Mango) device and it was unveiled by Japanese telecom operator KDDI in Japan. It has 13.2 MP camera and 32GB internal memory and it also the first water proof and dust proof smart phone running Windows Phone Mango OS.
