LG has announced another phone in the Optimus series, LG Optimus Hub, followed by Optimus Pro and Optimus Net. This phone is previously leaked in the LG road map this July. The LG Optimus Hub is said to be the successor of LG Optimus One, and it has 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen that is much brighter (550 nit). US network AT&T has announced three new Windows Phone 7 Mango smartphones, the Samsung Focus S, Samsung Focus Flash and the already announced HTC Titan.
The Samsung Focus S will feature a 4.3″ Super AMOLED Plus screen, the same one that can be found on their current Android flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S II. Like the Galaxy S II, it will have a very thin body – measuring just 8.5mm, the same thickness of the Galaxy S II at its thinnest point. The Focus Flash on the other hand will have a smaller 3.7″ Super AMOLED screen. Both of these smartphones will have a 1.4 GHz processor of the single core variety.
Not much is known for either devices though we do know that the Focus S will have a 8MP rear camera and 1.3MP front facing camera. The Focus Flash will have a 5MP rear camera and front facing camera with unspecified resolution.
No pricing has been released, though they are expected to arrive on the fourth quarter of this year. It is unknown if Samsung plans to release these phones worldwide.
BGR has managed to get their hands on a new Blackberry device called the 9790. The device which looks like a lower end version of the Bold 3 ie the 9900 still manages to include a decent feature set while presumably being sold at a mid range price point.
IntoMobile reports that HTC will be holding a press event early next week to announce new Android devices. The invitation which reads ‘Come celebrate in style with HTC’ indicates that the company might be finally launching its much awaited ‘Bliss’ smartphone.

According to recent report by research firm IDC (International Data Corporation), the Smartphone sales in Western Europe is more than the feature phone sales in Q2 2011. The feature phone shipments were down at 29% to 20.4 million units in 2Q11, while smartphone shipments increased 48% to 21.8 million units compared to Q2 2010.
