HUAWEI IDEOS X3 Hands-On Pictures

Recently we were invited for a HUAWEI Blogger’s Meet in Mumbai and were shown 3 recently launched HUAWEI Android devices. Here are the hands-on photos of IDEOS X3.

HUAWEI IDEOS X3 is another entry level 3G Android Gingerbread device launched in India for Rs. 9990/- (MOP). It has 3.2” TFT LCD HVGA display and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 SOC (System on Chip) running at 600MHz. IDEOS X3 has a 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM. This device is actually unique as even it is a entry level Android smartphone, X3 has a premium design with curved body and nice soft touch matt plastic covering all back side of the device. Overall the device feels quite solid in hand.  The X3 has VGA FFC (Front Facing Camera) for Internet Video Calls. The display is quite bright and due to its size (3.2”) and HVGA resolution it was quite sharp for our eyes. The X3 has 3.2MP Fixed Focus main camera without LED Flash. Nokia launches X3-02 in Lebanon first and gives away 100 free phones !

Nokia has launched it’s first S40 Touch and Type phone the X3-02 in Lebanon and it’s the first country where the phone is going on sale. Nokia also decided to giveaway 100 free X3-02  to users present at the venue and a discount on the sale price for the unlucky souls present there.

The Nokia X3-02 which is a Touchscreen variant of the X3 was launched today . Nokia is calling the handset X3 Touch and Type. The price and launch date of the handset has been revealed. Nokia X3-02 Full Specifications

Here are the full specs of the just launched Nokia X3-02 or the Touch and Type phone which is the first time the world’s largest handset maker is entering into the low end segment with a touchscreen handset.It has a slim design with brushed aluminum covers. It supports 3G, HSPA and Wifi (n). It has dedicated keys for Music and Messaging . It supports Email and Chat and also lets you access Twitter and Facebook.

Nokia XSeries in Pictures

The Nokia XSeries is the latest range of music and entertainment devices from Nokia and was initially leaked in a trademark filing and was officially announced at NokiaWorld. Two phones the X6 and the X3 were announced . The former being a high-end offering and the latter being a low-end offering.  But both  the phones carry the same design story of the X-Series as you can see in the pictures. Nokia X6 Hands On Video

Here is a short hands on video of the Nokia X6 which has a capacitive touchscreen. Watch the video after the jump for the proof that Capacitive displays are so much finger friendly and also Nokia is inching closer to the iPhone’s screen in terms of responsiveness. Even Apple fanboys would appreciate the screen on the X6.

Nokia X3 Camera Samples

Nokia X3 is an entry level music phone of the Nokia X-series range. It comes with a 3.2 Megapixel Camera  and I manged to take a couple of pictures during my interaction  with the Music Team at Nokia World. The EXIF info of the pics show the Camera as 7510 Supernova which is kinda interesting. How do you rate these pics coming from a phone priced at approx Rs.8000 ? Let us know Do you think the camera is important in a music phone ?
