It has been a long time since Google launched Google Wallet, but we haven’t seen any major updates to lately. Today, Google went live with a teaser to show that a new version of Google Wallet will be coming and have also set up an invite page where all the people interested in trying the update can request an invite.

Sony Xperia J is now available for pre-order in India from online retailer Flipkart. It was announced in Augustat IFA 2012 in Berlin. The Xperia J has a 4.0-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display with gorilla glass protection, 1 GHz Qualcomm MSM7227A processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), which is upgradable to Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Nokia has announced the Lumia 510 in India. It comes with a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, 800 MHz Snapdragon S1 Processor and would come with a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera. It runs on Windows Phone 7.5 OS which is upgradable to Windows Phone 7.8 in future. Other features would be similar to the Nokia Lumia 610. It would let the users to access to social networks, which includes Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. It also comes with 3 months unlimited Nokia Music and Mix Radio.
According to BGR, Apple has begun carrier testing of iOS 6.0.1, which is the first bug update to iOS 6 since its release just over a month ago. The report also says that iOS 6.0.1 fixes several issues including a visual bug most commonly seen on the iPhone keyboard when entering an account password in the App Store.
iOS 6.0.1 should fix the horizontal lines bug on the screen when the keyboard or app folder is open, and it will also fix a problem with the camera’s flash not going off.
In addition, the new software will improve Wi-Fi support, fix cellular data not working in some cases, add a consolidated cellular data switch for iTunes Match, fix a bug that allowed access to Passbook pass details from the lock screen, and also finally fix the bug that caused Exchange meetings to be unexpectedly cancelled for the entire calendar invite group.
Apple is also reportedly has just begun testing iOS 6.1, which would suggest that the update will not likely be released in time for any of the new hardware launches over the coming weeks. It is also unclear what changes are included in iOS 6.1.
