TF700 received Jelly Bean update some time back due to the people not on OTA RootKeeper lost their root. Now XDA developer hiemanshu has come up with a solution to root your TF700 running on Jelly Bean, follow the steps to root your device.
Prerequisites:
- Unlocked bootloader
- Download CWM recovery from here
- Download SuperSU from here
- Download Fastboot file from here
- 100% battery charge (just in case)
How to root:
- Extract the fastboot.zip into a folder and also copy the CWM recovery img inside the fastboot folder
- Attach your device to the PC and copy the SuperSU file in the device
- Get into fastboot mode by switching off your device and switching on in bootloader mode and then scrolling and selecting the fastboot option and then connecting your device to the PC
- Now open cmd prompt and travel to the location where you have copied the CWM recovery image inside the fastboot folder
- Now give the following commands:
fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot -i 0x0B05 reboot
- Now disconnect your device form the PC and reboot into recovery mode
- Once in recovery mode travel to flash zip and then flash SuperSU.zip
- Reboot the device
- Your device is now rooted
