Huawei has announced the Ascend G7, the company’s latest top-end smartphone in the G Series at the IFA. It has a 5.5-inch 720p screen, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Huawei Emotion UI 3.0. Rovio has released Angry Birds Stella, a new game in the Angry Birds franchise aimed at female fans. This include the main Stella bird and her group who are on a quest to protect Golden Island from the greedy Bad Princess. The game is available for Android, iOS and BlackBerry 10, but there is no sign of Windows Phone app yet. The game is free to download and includes in-app purchases in the form of coins. Microsoft has announced Nokia Wireless Charging Plate DT-903, the latest wireless charging accessory. It uses Qi wireless charging standard to charge Nokia smartphones with wireless charging support, similar to the DT-900 charging plate, but this also includes Bluetooth 4.0 LE and NFC pairing support so that the LED light glows when it senses that phone needs charging.
