Micromax has announced that it will start rolling out Android 5.0 (Lollipop) update for its Unite 2 A106 smartphone starting from April 7th. It is one of the most successful smartphone from the company, which sol sold over 1.5 million units its since its launch last May. HTC unveiled the Desire 826 smartphone at the CES earlier this year. It is launching in India soon, according to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom. It has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor ( four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz per core and four clocked at 1.0 GHz) with Adreno 405 GPU and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI on top. HTC has announced One M8s, a cheaper variant of the One M8 smartphone with the same all-metal unibody design and a 5-inch 1080p display. This is powered by a Snapdragon 615 64-bit Octa-Core SoC instead of Snapdragon 801 and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) out of the box with HTC Sense UI. Instead of HTC One M8’s Ultrapixel camera, this has a 13-megapixel rear camera, but it still has a Duo camera arrangement to capture depth information.
