LG V40 ThinQ with 6.4-inch QHD+ OLED FullVision display, triple rear cameras, dual front cameras announced

LG has announced its flagship V40 ThinQ penta camera smartphone as it had promised. It has a 6.4-inch FullVision OLED display with bottom bezel that is 1.6mm thinner than the predecessor. The main highlight of the smartphone is its cameras. It has triple rear cameras, 16MP 107-degree super wide-angle, 12MP standard angle and 12MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom (or 3.2x the zoom of the wide-angle lens). The Triple Shot feature stitches together the images captured with each of the three lenses into a short video file for easy sharing. BlackBerry Evolve with 5.99-inch FHD+ display, 13MP dual rear cameras to go on sale in India on October 10 exclusively on Amazon

Optiemus launched the BlackBerry Evolve and EvolveX smartphones in India in August. The EvolveX went on sale by end of August, and the company said that the Evolve will go on sale from mid-September, however after a slight delay, the phone will be available exclusively from Amazon.in on October 10 for Rs. 24,990.

Honor 8X with 6.5-inch FHD+ display, Kirin 710, AI dual rear cameras launching in India on October 16

Huawei’s Honor brand introduced the Honor 8X, successor of the Honor 7X in China last month. The company has started global roll out of the phone from Dubai and Spain yesterday. It has also confirmed that it will launch in India on October 16th at an event in Delhi, after launching in Malaysia, Russia and Czech Republic next week.

Nokia 7.1 with 5.84-inch FHD+ 19:9 display, Snapdragon 636, Dual rear cameras with ZEISS optics surfaces

After the Nokia 7.1 Plus (TA-1131) got certified by TENAA last week, now the live images and specifications of the Nokia 7.1 (TA-1100) has surfaced. This reveals a 5.84 FHD+ display with a notch and Snapdragon 636 SoC, similar to the Nokia 6.1 Plus, and the cameras with feature ZEISS optics with support for HDR videos. Images reveal a glass back, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a metal frame.

Microsoft Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 with 8th Gen Intel Core processors, Surface Studio 2 and Surface Headphones announced

Microsoft has announced Surface Pro 6, Surface Laptop 2, Surface Studio 2, as well as new Surface Headphones at an event, as it had promised. The  Surface Pro 6 is powered by Intel 8th Gen Quad Core processors and comes in new Black color option. Other specs are similar to the Surface Pro 5.

OnePlus 6T teased in official image alongside OnePlus 6

As the launch date of the OnePlus 6T is nearing, the company has started releasing images of its upcoming. The company has posted the first live image of the phone on its social channels. This shows the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T smartphones. Even though the picture doesn’t show everything clearly, inverting the colors show more details.

Motorla has announced limited-period price cuts for the X4 and E5 Plus smartphones in India for the upcoming festive season. The Moto E5 Plus has received a Rs. 1000 and the Moto X4 3GB and 4GB RAM have received Rs. 2000 price cuts each.

Sony XB01 Extra Bass portable Bluetooth water-resistant speaker launched in India for Rs. 2590

Sony India has launched the new EXTRA BASS wireless speaker SRS-XB01 in India. It has a compact, rounded design, full range speaker unit on the front and passive radiator on the rear for a deep and punchy sound. It has a water-resistant body supported with IPX5 rating.

Xiaomi Mi Compact Bluetooth Speaker 2 launched in India for Rs. 799

Xiaomi has silently launched the Mi Compact Bluetooth Speaker 2 with a new mesh design in India. This looks like a cheaper version of the Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini that was launched in India last year. It has a compact design measuring just 50 x 32mm and weighs just 54 grams.

Honor Play Ultra Violet color variant launched in India

Huawei’s Honor brand launched the Honor Play smartphone in India in Midnight Black and Navy Blue colors. Today the company has launched new Ultra Violet color variant in the country. Apart from the color, this has similar specifications, including a 6.3-inch Full HD+ 19:5:9 display with 89% screen-to-body ratio, Kirin 970 10nm processor, NPU as well as GPU Turbo graphics processing acceleration technology, 16-megapixel rear camera AI scene recognition and a 2-megapixel secondary rear camera.

Samsung SM-G6200 with 5.99-inch FHD+ display, 6GB RAM, dual rear cameras get certified

Samsung SM-G6200 has been certified by TENAA in China after rumors. The certification reveals a 5.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display without a notch, 2.2GHz Octa-Core SoC which could be Snapdragon 660 or 710, 6GB of RAM, 12-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. Huawei Y9 2019 with 6.5-inch FHD+ display, Kirin 710, 6GB RAM, dual front and rear cameras announced

After certification, Huawei has officially announced the Y9 2019 smartphone. It has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a narrow chin and high screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Kirin 710 SoC with 6GB of RAM, and runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.2, similar to the Honor 8X but this has a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 2-megapixel secondary camera to capture depth information in portrait shots and a 13-megapixel front camera along with a 2-megapixel front camera for portrait selfies, and both have AI photography features. After live images, the Nokia 7.1 Plus aka X7 has been certified by TENAA. This reveals a 6.18-inch Full HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display with a notch, 2.2GHz Octa-Core SoC with could be the Snapdragon 710, up to 6GB of RAM, 12-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 13-megapixel secondary camera, probably similar to the Nokia 7 Plus, and a 20-megapixel front-facing camera.
