Black Shark 2 Pro is all set to go official on July 30th, now the smartphone with the model number ‘BlackShark DTL-A0’ has surfaced on AnTuTu benchmarks which reveals a Full HD+ display, which should be a 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen, similar to the predecessor, faster Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, which will likely be UFS 3.0, looking at the memory performance in the benchmark and Android 9.0 (Pie).
Vivo launched its Z1Pro smartphone in India earlier this month at a competitive price tag starting at Rs. 14990. It went on sale on Flipkart and vivo India eStore starting from July 11th. After two weeks the phone is now available on open sale on both the platforms. It also comes with 5% cashback for HDFC Bank Debit Card users (not applicable on EMI transactions).

HUAWEI has announced Nova 5i Pro, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in China, as it had promised. It has a 6.26-inch Full HD+ display with a 32-megapixel in-screen camera, is powered by Kirin 810 7nm SoC with up to 8GB RAM, runs Android Pie with EMUI 9.1.1, has a 48-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 2-megapixel camera for 2cm macro and another 2-megapixel camera for depth sensing in portrait shots.
HUAWEI’s HONOR brand introduced the HONOR 20 PRO at an event in London back in May, and the phone was launched in India last month at Rs. 39,999, but the company did not reveal the availability. Tencent games launched the PUBG Mobile lite beta in Philippines back in August last year, earlier this year it expanded to more Asian countries. Today it has launched the mobile game in India officially. It is optimized for low-end smartphone devices since the installation pack is just 400MB and it works on devices with less than 2GB RAM, without compromising the gameplay experience. Sony has introduced RX100 VII compact camera with a new 1.0-type stacked 20.1 MP Exmor RS CMOS image sensor with DRAM chip and latest generation BIONZ X image processor. This combination delivers new levels of autofocus performance and achieves speed breakthroughs that have previously only been seen on the Alpha 9, said the company. It has ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* 24-200mmviii F2.8-4.5 high magnification zoom lens.
After reports, Apple and Intel have confirmed that Apple will acquire the majority of Intel’s smartphone modem business in a transaction valued at $1 billion. Approximately 2,200 Intel employees will join Apple, along with intellectual property, equipment and leases. Intel closed its 5G modem business in April this year after Apple and Qualcomm announced a settlement and prior to this, Intel became the sole third-party provider of modems of the iPhones launched in 2018. ZTE’s nubia brand today announced that it will introduce its flagship Z20 smartphone at an event in China, Beijing on August 8th. The invite doesn’t say anything other than mentioning it as the annual flagship device, and the image shows a camera lens. We don’t know any other details about the successor of last year’s Nubia Z18, but the company recently shared couple of samples shot on the Z20.

Google released Sound Amplifier app back in February this year for phones running Android 9 Pie or later and it came pre-installed on Pixel 3 phones. Google has updated the app to support Android devices running Android 6.0 Marshmallow and above. The app enhances audio from your Android device using headphones to provide a more comfortable and natural listening experience. Samsung introduced the Galaxy Fold at its Unpacked event back in February and said that it will go on sale in April. But it didn’t happen since people who reviewed the device reported issues with the screen and the body. Samsung is all set to introduce the Galaxy Note10 series on August 7th. Today we have the first image of the Galaxy Note10+ 5G that will head to Verizon Wireless in the US, thanks to @evleaks. This shows triple rear cameras as the Note10 and doesn’t have the additional ToF sensor like the Note10+.
