HONOR Band 5 with 0.95-inch AMOLED color display, 50-meter water resistance launching in India soon on Flipkart

HUAWEI’s HONOR brand introduced the Honor Band 5 last month in China. Now, the company has confirmed that it will launch in India soon on Flipkart. It has a 0.95-inch AMOLED color 2.5D curved glass touch screen display with different watch faces, in addition to Home button, comes with TruSeen 3.0  continuous heart rate tracking and is also water resistant up to 50 meters. It has automatic activity tracking that lets you track 10 fitness activities such as running, cycling, swimming with swim stroke recognition and more.

Samsung has launched new online exclusive range of TVs — The Frame and Smart 7-in-1 32-inch HD and 40-inch Full HD LED TVs equipped with seven ultra-smart innovations such as Content Guide that shows and recommends content and pre-loaded video-on-demand apps such as Netflix, Prime Video and Zee5, and also come with features such as Personal Computer, Music System, Home Cloud, Live Cast and Screen Mirroring. The 32-inch model has 10W audio output, two HDMI ports, USB port, WiFi and Bluetooth support. Amazfit Verge Lite smartwatch with 1.3-inch AMOLED display, GPS, 20-day battery life launched in India for Rs. 6999

After the launch of Amazfit Verge smartwatch earlier this year, Huami today launched the Amazfit Verge Lite, a cheaper version in India. It has the same 1.3-inch AMOLED Screen, has several Sports Modes, including Outdoor Running, Treadmill, Walking, Outdoor Cycling, Indoor Cycling, Elliptical Trainer, Exercise and more, comes with a water resistant body with IP68 ratings, comes with continuous heart rate monitoring, but it doesn’t come with a microphone or a speaker, so you can’t take calls on the watch like the Verge. Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 with Super AMOLED display, rotating touch bezel, military-level durability announced

 

Samsung has announced Galaxy Watch Active2, the company’s latest smartwatch and successor of Galaxy Watch Active that was introduced  earlier this year, as it had promised. It comes in 44mm and 40mm models with 1.4-inch and 1.2-inch curved Super AMOLED screen with rotating touch bezel that turns both clockwise and counter-clockwise to advance screens so you can easily select favorite apps.

HONOR 20i Phantom Red Edition launched in India

HUAWEI’s HONOR brand  launched the HONOR 20i smartphone in the HONOR 20 series in India back in June for Rs. 14999, but it sold only the Phantom Blue and Midnight Black versions. Today the company has launched the Phantom Red Limited Edition in the country. It uses  the same 3D photolithography technology with dynamic prism-shaped color gradient with a gleaming effect at the back, shining whenever it moves.

Apple iPhone with Face ID and in-screen Touch ID said to launch in 2021

Apple removed Touch ID fingerprint authentication in favor of Face ID 3D facial recognition technology on iPhone X back in 2017, and it didn’t make a come back in last year’s iPhone XS series. Now, according to a new note from Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will introduce an iPhone equipped with both Face ID and in-screen fingerprint sensor in 2021.

POCO F1 gets another permanent price cut in India, 8GB + 256GB Armored Edition now available for Rs. 22999

Xiaomi’s POCO launched the F1, the company’s first smartphone in India back in August last year starting at Rs. 20,999, later in December the company announced Rs. 1000 price cut across all the version of the smartphone. In June the 6GB + 64GB version got a Rs. 2000 limited period price cut and was selling it for Rs. 17999, later it was permanent. During the Xiaomi Mi 5th Anniversary sale last month, other versions of the POCO F1 got temporary price cuts, now the price cut has become permanent, and is available from Flipkart and Mi.com at new rates.

LG X2 / K30 (2019) with 5.45-inch FullVision display, military-level durability announced

After the X4 (2019) model that was introduced in Korea back in April, the company has introduced X2 (2019) smartphone in its home ground. It packs a  5.45-inch HD+ FullVision 18:9 aspect ratio screen, is powered by Snapdragon 425 SoC with 2GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie), features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 5-megapixel front camera with portrait mode and screen flash.

Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro go on open sale in India starting today

Two weeks after the first sale of the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones on July 22nd, Xiaomi’s Redmi brand today announced that the phones will be available through open sale from Flipkart and Mi.com starting today at 12 noon. Xiaomi will reveal ‘future of imaging technology’ on August 7, Redmi 64MP Quad camera tech expected

After Realme announced its ‘Camera Innovation Event’ in India on August 8th to reveal details about 64MP Quad Camera tech on a smartphone, Xiaomi today announced an event on August 7th in China to reveal the future of imaging technology. This will likely be the company’s 64MP camera technology that it confirmed last month. It is also expected to announce new imaging laboratory of Xiaomi and Meitu. Xiaomi is expected to combine some exclusive patents of Meitu in its AI imaging technology.
