Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and Galaxy Watch Active 2 release date confirmed


We already know that Samsung will introduce its Galaxy Note10 series on August 7th at its Unpacked event. Now the company has announced that it will introduce the Galaxy Tab S6 later today, July 31st and the Galaxy Watch Active 2 next Monday, August 5th at special pre-events.

Based on recent rumors, the Galaxy Tab S6 will feature a 10.5 inch 2K AMOLED screen, powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage with microSD expansion slot, 13MP f/1.9 aperture rear camera along with a 5-megapixel secondary camera, 8-megapixel front camera, S Pen support, which can be attached to the back magnetically, AKG-tuned speakers, WiFi and LTE options, in-display fingerprint sensor and a 7040mAh battery with support for fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 is said to feature an AMOLED screen without the rotating bezel, microphone, a leather strap. It is said to come in 44mm and 40mm sizes and also in Wi-Fi in LTE models with 237mAh and 340mAh battery, respectively.

The Galaxy Watch Active 2 is said to come with ECG support that lets customers take an electrocardiogram right from their wrist, capturing heart rhythm in a moment when they experience symptoms like a rapid or skipped heart beat and helping to provide critical data to physicians. It is also said to support atrial fibrillation or Afib notifications by occasionally checking heart rhythm in the background and support Fall Detection which utilizes a next-generation accelerometer and gyroscope to identify when hard falls occur and sends the user an alert.
