Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy A21s after it surfaced earlier this week. It has a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-O display, is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core processor, which is new Exynos 850, according to several rumors. It runs Android 10 with OneUI 2.0, comes with 48-megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, 2-megapixel depth and 2-megapixel macro sensor. There is also a 13-megapixel front camera. Jio launches new Rs. 999 pre-paid plan with 3GB data per day, 84 days validity

Last week Reliance Jio launched a new Rs. 2399 yearly plan with 2GB data per day and new Work from Home add-on data packs. Today it has launched a new Rs. 999 plan with 3GB per data day and 84 days validity, which it calls Work-from-Home plan. Samsung Galaxy A Quantum world’s first 5G smartphone with quantum security chip announced

Samsung has announced Galaxy A Quantum in partnership with SK Telecom in South Korea. This is world’s first 5G smartphone with quantum random number generation (QRNG) chipset. It shares similar specifications as the Galaxy A71 5G  that includes a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED Infinity-O Display, Exynos 980, 8GB RAM, 64MP quad rear cameras, 32MP front camera and a 4500mAh battery with 25W super fast charging. Redmi Note 10 5G with 6.57-inch FHD+ OLED screen, up to 8GB RAM, 48MP triple rear cameras certified

A new Redmi 5G smartphone with the model number M2004J7AC has been certified by TENAA in China. Based on earlier rumors, this could be released as Redmi Note 10 in China. This reveals a 6.57-inch FHD+ OLED screen, up to 8GB of RAM, 48MP triple rear cameras, 16MP front camera and a 4500mAh battery. 3C certification already confirmed 22.5W fast charging support for the phone. The design of the smartphone is similar to the Redmi Note 9 series on the back, but on the front it has a waterdrop notch compared to punch-hole. Xiaomi introduces Mi AirDots 2 SE with Bluetooth 5.0, dual microphones for call noise reduction

Xiaomi today introduced the Mi AirDots 2 SE, a cheaper version of the AirDots 2 in  China. It comes with Bluetooth 5.0, smart voice controls, dual microphones for ENC, which is environmental noise cancellation. It has the same 14.2mm drivers, but only comes with AAC codec and not the LDHC Hi-Res audio codec like AirDots 2 and 2S. The headset automatically connects with the phone running MIUI when you open the case and pick up the earphones. Apple iPhone SE 2020 will go on sale in India on Flipkart from May 20

Apple introduced the new iPhone SE last month priced starting at Rs. 42500.  Few days back it also announced limited period offer for HDFC Bank cards making the effective price Rs. 38,900 after Rs. 3600 cashback. Today Flipkart has confirmed that it will sell the phone starting from May 20th at 12PM.  Apple supplier Redington already confirmed that the phone will be available in 3500+ retail locations across India so the phone should also be available from Authorized Apple resellers on the same day. Amazfit Ares smartwatch with 70 sports modes to be announced on May 19

After several teasers, HUAMI just confirmed that it will introduce its Amazfit Ares smartwatch in China on May 19th. The company also confirmed 70 sports modes and FIRSTBEAT professional-level sports analysis features like VO2Max, Exercise Effect (TE), Exercise Load (TD) and Recovery Time Data. Nokia 3.1 Plus Android 10 update starts rolling out

HMD Global has started rolling out Android 10 update for the Nokia 3.1 Plus smartphone, which makes it the 15th Nokia phone to get the update after the Nokia 1 Plus, Nokia 8.1, Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 7.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6.1, Nokia 2.2, Nokia 7.2, Nokia 3.2, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 2.3 and Nokia 6.2. The phone was launched back in October 2018 running Oreo and got the Android Pie update in February this year. The latest update brings a number of additional privacy and security features for users, as well as Dark Theme, Focus mode, dedicated ‘Privacy section’, and more. HUAWEI FreeBuds 3 with Kirin A1 chip, Bluetooth 5.1, open fit active noise cancellation launched in India for Rs. 12990

HUAWEI just launched the FreeBuds 3, the company’s latest true wireless earbuds in India, after it was introduced at the IFA last year. It has Kirin A1 chip with dual-mode Bluetooth 5.1 SoC with patented BT-UHD transmission protocol for 6.5Mbps transmission speed. It uses HUAWEI Isochronous Dual Channel transmission technology for low latency and low power consumption and 356 MHz audio processor for stable, fast Bluetooth connection, as well as an accurate audio and video synchronization. The chip can also eliminate the background noise during calls and enhance the voice simultaneously. Realme has scheduled an event in China on May 25th to introduce 8 new products including smartphones, TWS earbuds, smartphone and more. The event invite shows the design of these products. realme China CMO Xu Qi Chase has posted an image of the smartphone with quad rear cameras and a glossy finish on the back. POCO just announced POCO F2 Pro, the company’s latest flagship smartphone at a global online event as it has promised. It packs a 6.67-inch E3 Super AMOLED screen with 92.7% screen-to-body ratio, 60Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate, and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.  The company says it has 360° ambient light control with 3 sensors. It is powered by Snapdragon 865, 5G SA/NSA support with Snapdragon X55 Modem, has 3435mm² VC liquid-cooled heat sink, Game Turbo 3.0, 4D vibration when playing games with Z-axis motor and has been certified by TÜV Rheinland for high-performance gaming. It runs Android 10 with MIUI 11, comes with 3D glass back with AG technology, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and Anti-glare matte finish in grey and purple color versions, NFC and Hi-Res audio support. Realme X3, X3 Super Zoom and realme TV listed on India site, expected to launch soon

Realme recently confirmed that it will launch the X3 Super Zoom smartphone with 60x zoom and a new “Starry Mode” in India soon.
