Update – May 13, 2020: Xiaomi has finally confirmed that MIUI 12 global online launch event will happen on May 19th and will start at 2PM CEST (5:30PM IST).
Earlier – May 7, 2020: Xiaomi announced the MIUI 12, the next generation MIUI along with Mi 10 Youth Edition at an event in China last week, and also released MIUI China Closed Beta update in China with stable update expected in June. The company also announced MIUI 12 Pilot program for range of devices including the Redmi K20 series in several countries including India. Today the company has revealed that it will be introduced for the global markets on May 19th with a set of clues, so we should know the global roll out details in a couple of weeks.
MIUI 12 brings brand-new Animations, Dark Mode 2.0, and focuses on Privacy and security. MIUI 12 shows all sensitive behaviours of an app and comes with improved Xiaomi ’s AI phone assistant with AI calling.
