Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series known for its value-for-money (VFM) saw another upgrade in March. This time the company launched the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max with the main differences being the cameras and support for faster charger in the Max version. The company did not take the high refresh rate route like the POCO X2, but it definitely a major upgrade in terms of display, battery and lots more. Apple iPhone SE 2020 will be available in India at an effective price of Rs. 38900 with HDFC cashback offer

Apple introduced the new iPhone SE last month priced starting at Rs. 42500. Today it has announced a limited period offer for HDFC Bank cards that will let them get the phone effectively at Rs. 38,900 after Rs. 3600 cashback. Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G announced — 15% faster CPU and GPU performance compared to 765G, updateable GPU drivers

Qualcomm just announced Snapdragon 768G, the company’s latest mid-range 5G Mobile platform and the successor of the Snapdragon 765G that was introduced back in December last year. This comes with faster Qualcomm Kryo 475 CPU Prime core clock speed up to 2.8 GHz compared to 2.4 GHz in the 765G and also promises up to 15% faster graphics rendering than Snapdragon 765G and support for 120Hz display. Update: Vivo has confirmed the launch of V19 smartphone in India on May 12th, after it has been postponed from the original launch date of March 26th. Even though it was supposed to launch in India first, the smartphone appeared on the global website last month, which confirmed the complete specifications. Redmi 9 shows up on official website, expected to launch soon

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has already introduced Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro smartphones in India, and the Redmi Note 9 made its global debut last week. Now the company is gearing up to launch the Redmi 9 smartphone soon as it had surfaced in RF exposure website. This reveals the model number M2004J19G for the phone. Redmi K30 5G Speed Edition with Snapdragon 768G to be announced on May 11

Now the company has confirmed that it will introduce the K30 5G Speed Edition in China on May 11th in partnership with JD. It has also confirmed that it will be the first phone to be powered by Snapdragon 768G SoC, and upgraded version of the Snapdragon 765G. Meizu 17 and 17 Pro 5G with 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED 90Hz display, Snapdragon 865, 64MP quad rear cameras announced

Meizu just announced its flagship 17 and 17 Pro smartphones at an event in China, as it had promised. These pack a 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen from Samsung with third-generation polar edge full screen display with 90Hz high refresh screen, 180Hz touch sampling rate and 2.2mm ultra-narrow bezel and 92.2% screen-to-body ratio. The 2.99mm punch-hole houses a 20MP front camera that also shows the charge left as a ring around the camera. These are powered by Snapdragon 865, 5G SA/NSA support with Snapdragon X55 Modem. Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 launched in India for Rs. 4499

Along with the new Mi 10, Xiaomi also introduced the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2, which is the global version of the Mi AirDots Pro 2 which was introduced in China back in September last year and saw a global launch in May. It comes with Bluetooth 5.0 and LDHC Hi-Res audio codec, smart voice controls, dual microphones for ENC, which is environmental noise cancellation. It also has 14.2mm drivers for better audio output. POCO Global launch set for May 12, POCO F2 Pro expected

POCO recently sent out media invites for a global launch event on May 12th in Spain, after the launch of POCO F1. Now it has confirmed that the event will start at 2PM CEST (5:30PM IST) on Tuesday. Google Play’s list of supported devices already revealed that the Redmi K30 Pro and upcoming POCO F2 Pro share the same “lmi” code name, so the POCO F2 Pro should be a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro for the global markets. OnePlus at its flagship OnePlus 8 series launch event introduced its new Bullets Wireless Z Bluetooth headphones. Later it also confirmed the price as Rs. 1999 in India, which is much cheaper compared to the US and added that it will be available from May. Today the company has confirmed that it will go on early access sale on Amazon.in and oneplus.in starting 12 am on 10th May.
