Amazfit has announced the release of the Cheetah 2 Pro. Expanding its performance-focused Cheetah lineup, the new smartwatch is designed primarily for marathon runners, focusing on structured preparation, endurance building, and recovery tracking. Released ahead of major events like the Boston and London Marathons, the device utilizes a hybrid training philosophy aimed at supporting high-mileage runners.
The Cheetah 2 Pro utilizes a design approach Amazfit describes as “structural lightness,” aimed at reducing unnecessary bulk while maintaining durability.
The device integrates specialized software to assist runners throughout long marathon build-ups, balancing aerobic base work, threshold sessions, and strength-supportive training.
To accommodate long-distance running and outdoor training, Amazfit has upgraded the GPS hardware and maintained extended battery performance.
