Nokia 2.3 Android 10 update starts rolling out


HMD Global has started rolling out Android 10 update for the Nokia 2.3 smartphone, which makes it the 12th Nokia phone to get the update after the Nokia 8.1, Nokia 9 PureViewNokia 7.1Nokia 6.1 PlusNokia 7 PlusNokia 6.1Nokia 2.2, Nokia 7.2Nokia 3.2, Nokia 4.2, and Nokia 8 Sirocco. It was launched last year running Android 9.0(Pie). Android 10 update on Nokia smartphones bring a number of additional privacy and security features for users, as well as Dark Theme, Focus mode, dedicated ‘Privacy section’, and more.

The update weighs 1.11GB in size, carries the version number V2.230 and brings the March Security Patch alongside new Android 10 features. It is being rolled out in batches in several counties including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, Georgia, Hong Kong, Iceland, India, Iraq, Iran, Jordan,  Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Latvia, Lebanon, Libya, Lituania, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Morocco, Nepal, Norway, Oman, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia,  Sweden, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, and Yemen.

The company says that 10% of users in the above regions will receive the update today, 50% of users will receive it by April 24th, and full rollout in these regions will be completed by April 26th, 2020. The batch 2 rollout is expected to be started soon as well.
