It has been several months since HUAWEI launched a smartphone in India, and HONOR launched the HONOR 9X in January, but with old Kirin 710 SoC and Android Pie. This is due to ban on using Google Play Services on its phones. The renders, provided by popular leaker, @onleaks, shows a device with a large screen having an inifinity U display, a 48MP triple camera, USB-C and more.
HUAWEI has introduced Enjoy 10e budget smartphone in China. It packs a 6.3-inch HD+ display with 2.65mm tiny waterdrop notch and 88.4% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC with 4GB RAM, has a 13-megapixel primary camera with AI features and a 2-megapixel camera for portrait shots. There is an 8-megapixel pop-up camera on the front. It runs EMUI 10 on top of Android 10, features gradient back and is backed up by a 5000mAh (typical) battery with reverse charging using OTG cable, but lacks a fingerprint sensor. The iPhone rumours continue to pile up as fresh news of the possible Wi-Fi capabilities for the upcoming iPhone 12 have popped up. Apple is rumoured to use the new 802.11ay Wi-Fi standard which utilises the 60GHz spectrum that is ideal for high bandwidth data transfer.
New press image of the phone has surfaced that shows a familiar design, thinner bezel, water drop notch, dedicated Google Assistant button and volume rockers on the left, power button on the right and a gold frame. It is expected to come with 5G support, powered by Snapdragon 865 Mobile Platform, 8GB of RAM. Since there is no MWC, it could be announced as early as next week.
The Coronavirus outbreak continues to cause supply issues for technology companies as Apple’s next low-cost iPhone supply is likely more delayed. Apple originally planned to start mass-production of the devices in February but now it has been delayed well into late March.
With more and more phones coming with foldable displays, both along the horizontal and vertical axis, TCL has supposedly gone another route and built a concept phone that incorporates a slide-out display instead. The idea behind the design is to have a tablet experience on a regular phone once the screen is pulled out.

Apple is said to hold a spring time press event at the end of March, likely to launch the upcoming rumoured “iPhone 9” or “iPhone SE 2”. Apple previously held a press event during spring 2019 to unveil new iPad models along with new versions of their Pages, Keynote and Numbers iOS apps.
