Xiaomi Mi CC10 Pro could pack 108MP camera, 12x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom

Xiaomi introduced the Mi CC9 Pro with 108MP penta rear cameras back in November last year and it was launched as Mi Note 10 for the global market. Now a new Xiaomi smartphone codenamed CAS is said to be in the work. This is rumored to pack a 108MP camera, but the company is said to use new HM2 sensor, an upgraded version of the HM1 sensor that is used in the latest Galaxy S20 Ultra that was introduced earlier this year. Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra surfaces in Bluetooth SIG listing

4th Gen iPad Air to switch to USB-C; iPad Mini to stick with Lightning: Report

Leaks have surfaced that suggest that Apple’s upcoming iPad Air refresh will finally ditch the Lightning port and adopt USB-C. The iPad Mini, on the other hand, will continue to use the Lightning port for at least one more generation. If these rumours are true, this will be the first time Apple has begun using USB-C for tablets other than the iPad Pro lineup.

Google’s upcoming Android TV dongle device renders, remote and UI surface

It looks like the Chromecast Ultra is due for an update and Google is working towards finishing the development of its successor, that will be launched during a hardware event later this year. OPPO said to have hired MediaTek and UNISOC engineers for its own chip

Rumors about OPPO making their own processors for their own smartphones surfaced recently. Now a new report says that the company has hired Jeffery Ju, MediaTek’s former co-chief operating officer and is about to hire a top executive from MediaTek’s 5G smartphone chip development in a couple of months. OPPO is also planning to hire executives from Qualcomm as well as HUAWEI’s HiSilicon unit, adds the report.
