Update: According to a new Bloomberg report, the Pixel 5a is expected to launch in August. Google Pixel 5a surfaced in CAD-based renders last month. Now Google has confirmed to ET that it will further increase the Pixel inventory in India this year when it launches the Pixel 5a after the company doubled inventory for Pixel for India last year with the Pixel 4a. Still the phone is facing a huge demand mainly due to the competitive pricing compared to earlier models. Google Pixel 5a has surfaced in first CAD-based renders, thanks to @OnLeaks. This shows a similar punch-hole OLED screen as the predecessor, however this is said to feature a slightly bigger 6.2-inch FHD+ OLED screen compared to the 5.8-inch screen. This also increases the height, width and the thickness of the phone to 156.2 x 73.2 x 8.8mm (9.4mm with camera bump). Google has announced the Pixel 4a, which is the successor to the highly popular Pixel 3a that was released last year. Interestingly, just as we are greeted by the Pixel 4a announcement, Google is supposedly already working on the Pixel 5a as the phone was spotted in a newly released AOSP code change.
