Lava Iris N400 Dual SIM phone with 4-inch display, Android 4.0 now available for Rs. 6,399

Lava Iris N400, Lava’s new Dual SIM Android smartphone in the Iris range is now available from online retailers Flipkart and Snapdeal. Unlike the Iris N320 and N350 that was launched recently, the N400 comes with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and has 3G support. It has a 4.0-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and is powered by a 1 GHz processor. It has a 5MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 0.3MP front-facing camera for video calling.  It has Dual SIM support similar to the Iris smartphones. Sony Xperia 50 GB Free Box Storage offer extended till 2013

Sony has announced that they have extended the agreement with Box to offer 50GB of free storage for Xperia smartphones and tablets till the end of 2013. Last December Sony teamed up with Box to offer 50GB of free file sharing and storage on Box for the Xperia range of Android smartphones and tablets. LG Optimus L-Series smartphone sales surpass 10 million units globally

LG has announced that they have sold over 10 million units of Optimus L-Series smartphones globally. The Optimus L-Series Smartphones include, Optimus L3 that has a 3.2-inch display, Optimus L5 with a 4.0-inch (320×480 pixels), Optimus L7 with a 4.3 inch (480 x 800 pixels ) display and the Optimus L9 that has a 4.7-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) IPS display. LG announced the Optimus L3, L5 and L7 at MWC 2012 that was launched in India in May starting from the Optimus L3. It took 9 months for LG to achieve this feat starting from the Optimus L3 that went of sale in Europe in March. Sony releases Flash tool for Xperia Smartphones

Sony Mobile has released Flash tool for Xperia Smartphones. This would let you flash a standard Sony software on your Xperia smartphone with an unlocked boot loader. This software is available for Windows and automatically identifies the phone model and displays the available software to be flashed.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 price drops to Rs. 25900


Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (GT-P5100) has got a price cut and is now available for Rs. 25900 from online retailer Saholic. It was announced at MWC 2012 earlier this year and launched in India in July for Rs. 32,900. This is definitely a huge price cut, that would let more customers buy the tablet. Snapseed app arrives for Android, goes free for iPhone and iPad

Snapseed photo app is finally available for Android. This app would let you transform and enhance your image just like Instagram, which was released for Android earlier this year. Google acquired Snapseed recently, and Vic Gundotra, Senior Vice President teased Snapseed for Android few months back by sharing an image on his Google+ page. The Snapseed app for iPhone and iPad that costed $2.99 till now has gone free and has been updated with new features including built-in Google+ sharing, new Retrolux filter and updated frames filter. Google Nexus 10 Unboxing

The Nexus program from Google has been transforming from a developer focused one to a completely consumer focused one. The message is very clear, Google wants to use its services(Google Play) and the best possible way to use them is by buying their Nexus devices. Starting from the Nexus One, the program has seen many phones, till the Nexus 4(See our unboxing here) a 7 inch tablet made by ASUS, the Nexus 7, but we never got to see a 10 inch one. But then, amidst “Sandy”, Google launched the first 10 inch Nexus device – The Google Nexus 10, made by Samsung. And yes, we have got it in our hands already, after a terrible launch delay.
