RIM has launched the BlackBerry Curve 9380 and the Curve 9350 in India. The Curve 9380 is the first all-touch smartphone in the BlackBerry Curve family. It comes with 3.2-inch (480 x 360 pixels) touch screen display with 188 ppi, optical trackpad and navigation keys. The Curve 9350 is the CDMA version of the Curve 9360 that was launched in September . It has an 2.44-inch (480 × 360 pixels) touch screen display with 246 ppi and a Full QWERTY keyboard . The Curve 9380 is powered by 806 MHz processor and the Curve 9350 is powered by 800 MHz processor . Both these phones comes with preinstalled social networking apps, including BBM (BlackBerry Messenger), Facebook, Twitter and Social Feeds apps. Airtel has announced the pricing for both the pre-paid and the post-paid plans for the iPhone 4S. They started pre-orders for the iPhone 4S last week and it is expected to be available from 25th November. The 16GB version comes at Rs.44,500 and the 32GB is available for Rs.50,900. These plans offer free Local Minutes, Local and National SMS and 3G Data. Aircel has already revealed their post-paid plans for the iPhone 4S earlier this week. LG India has officially launched 2 new Android phones, LG Optimus Pro and Optimus Net. These phones run on Android 2.3 and powered by 800 MHz CPU. The LG Optimus PRO has the combination of touch and QWERTY and features a unique Portrait Touch Screen that allows user to read and write up to 16 lines as compared to 8-10 lines in the normal screens. The QWERTY keypad with dedicated shortcuts will enable smartphone users to multitask. LG Optimus NET comes with Social +, unique social media aggregator which enables smartphone users to get updates, events of popular social networking portals in a widget on the home screen. When HTC launched the 3G+WiFi of it’s 7 inch Android tablet in India for Rs.39890 in June this year , we were immensely disappointed about the price tag. It was an impressive tablet with decent battery life. Now if you gave the Flyer a pass for the same reason, good news for you. The price of the tablet has been cut by almost 50%. When I was expecting the Motorola RAZR to arrive today , I had a question in my mind. Does this phone use a microSIM card. The Motorola DROID RAZR for Verizon uses the smaller SIM card but there was no mention about it in the Europe / Asia product pages. To my surprise when I opened the box earlier today, I noticed that the RAZR had a flap which covered the microSIM card slot and the microSD memory card slot. Remember the good old Motorola RAZR ? Now the Moto RAZR is back in a sexy new avatar in the form of a incredible Android phone.The Motorola RAZR XT910 was officially launched in India only yesterday and here we have some unboxing pics of this beautiful device and a video is processing as we speak.The device comes in pretty small square box with a touch of red to it. The RAZR XT910 is the GSM variant of the Motorola DROID RAZR which was launched on Verizon in the US. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor and packs 1 GB of RAM. The display is a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Advanced display. It packs a 8MP camera which is capable of full HD 1080p recording. The handset is incredible thin at just 7.1 mm except in the top. Adobe Flash would be available for the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich by the end of 2011, according to Pocket-lint who has confirmed it with Adobe. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus that was announced last month with Android 4.0 doesn’t come with Flash player. This would let the Samsung Galaxy Nexus users and other users who receives the Android 4.0 in near future would get full web experience. But the Android 4.0 would be the last version of the Android that would come with Flash support. Samsung UK has confirmed the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Samsung Galaxy S2 on their tweet. The Samsung Galaxy S2 is one of the best selling phones for Samsung with 10 million this September since its launch 6 month ago. The Samsung Galaxy S2 came with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) out of the box. Samsung Italy listed their eligible devices for the Android 4.0 update recently. One developer @Plamoni has managed to create a Proxy Server for hacking around Siri – the virtual assistant found on the Apple iPhone 4S. Since he shared the source code on github another developer put together a twitter plugin which lets you tweet using Siri. Watch the video below where the developer of this twitter plugin for the Siri Proxy Server shows how Siri can be used to tweet. Damn Cool !
