Now @evleaks aka Evan Blass at VentureBeat is reporting that the Galaxy S9 series will be an iterative update in “tock” cycle, since the Galaxy S8 was a major upgrade as a part of “tick” cycle. Tata mobile customers start transitioning to Airtel network, to enjoy uninterrupted services with existing SIMs

Last month Bharti Airtel and Tata today announced that they have entered into an agreement to merge Consumer Mobile Businesses (CMB) of Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) and Tata Teleservices Maharashtra Limited (TTML) into Bharti Airtel. Today Airtel has announced that starting today, Tata Teleservices customers will start transitioning to the Airtel mobile network under an Intra Circle Roaming (ICR) arrangement.

Google Lens in Assistant rolling out to Pixel smartphones [Update]

[Update: Google has announced that Google Lens in the Assistant will be rolling out to all Pixel phones set to English in the U.S., U.K., Australia, Canada, India and Singapore over the coming weeks.]

Google at the Pixel event back in October debuted the Google Lens feature in the photos app which uses the camera to scan the objects and landmarks in photos to provide more information about the same. Though it was only possible via Photos app, at the same event, Google mentioned that it would gradually roll out Lens in Assistant and it looks like the time has arrived.

[Update – November 21: Xiaomi has started rolling out stable MIUI 9 update for the Redmi 4 after rolling out Nightly build last week.]

Earlier: Xiaomi launched Redmi 4 running MIUI 8 based on Marshmallow back in May, the company rolled out Nougat based Stable ROM to the users a fortnight ago just before the MIUI 9 Global launch. As per the announcement, Redmi 4 was kept in the second batch of devices along with Mi 5, Mi Max and others which were supposed to receive the update in mid-Nov. Yesterday evening, some users started reporting that they are receiving a new OTA update as Nightly build on their Redmi 4 devices.
