Samsung launched the Galaxy S9+ in India last year starting at Rs. 64900. Now the smartphone has received a Rs. 7000 price cut and starts from Rs. 57900 for the 64GB storage version. The 128GB storage version now costs Rs. 61900, down from the launch price of Rs. 68,900, and the 256GB storage version is available for Rs. 65900, down from the launch price of Rs. 72,900. Third-party companies rely on various sources or component costs to estimate the making costs. Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ get first update in India as global roll out of the smartphones begin

Samsung launched the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones in India last week. Now both the smartphones have received a new update that brings March 2018 Android security patch. It also brings improved stability to Face Unlock and camera for the Galaxy S9+ along with usual set of stability improvements and bug fixes for the phone. For me, the fingerprint sensor issue that doesn’t respond after sometime has been fixed with this update.

Samsung today launched the  Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, the company’s latest flagship smartphones at an event in India, as it had promised. These were introduced at the MWC last week and have variable aperture cameras. The S9 has a 12-megapixel rear camera with variable aperture tech that uses f/1.5 aperture for night shots for a brighter picture and f/2.4 aperture for normal shots in daytime. The S9+ has a secondary 12MP Telephoto lens for live focus for bokeh effect with background blur. Samsung announced the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones with new dual aperture camera, Super slo-mo and several features at its Unpacked 2018 event at the MWC 2018 earlier this week.  It also started pre-booking for the phones in India soon after the announcement. Today the company has confirmed that it will launch the flagship smartphones in India at an event on March 6th.

Last week first renders of the upcoming Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus smartphones surfaced online. Now new renders of the smartphones have surfaced showing the back with rear camera with fingerprint sensor below them along with branding, thanks to dBrand who has already started taking pre-orders for the skins for the phones.
