Xiaomi’s Redmi brand today launched Redmi 9 Prime smartphone, as it had announced. It has a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD water-drop, MediaTek Helio G80 8nm SoC, 13-megapixel primary rear AI camera, 8-megapixel 118° ultra-wide angle lens, 5-megapixel 4cm macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Google today introduced its Pixel 4a smartphone after several delays and also announced that it will be available in India in October. Facebook has announced the launch of official music videos on their platform from artists across different publishers in the United States, and Thailand. Users will be able to discover, watch and share music by genre, artist, or mood, as well as access theme-based playlists like “Top Bollywood”, “Top Artists,” among others and has partnerships with T -Series Music, Zee Music Company, and Yash Raj Films. In the US it offers contents from artists like J. Balvin, Karol G, Sebastian Yatra, and more.

Earlier this month, Samsung announced the launch of a new product called the UV sterilizer, and it is now available for purchase in India. The product can would quickly disinfect and sterilize smartphones, earbuds, keys, sunglasses in under 10 minutes and even has a wireless charger built-in.
Along with the Reno4 Pro, OPPO just launched its OPPO Watch, the company’s first smartwatch with WearOS by Google in India, as it had promised. The 46mm version has a 1.91-inch 3D flexible AMOLED 326 PPI Retina display with 100% P3 wide color gamut, has 50 meter water resistance. The 41mm version has a 1.6-inch 301 PPI AMOLED screen and comes with 30 meter water resistance. These use Snapdragon 3100 & Apollo 3 dual processors with Wi-Fi support, but doesn’t have eSIM like the Chinese version. It packs a 6.5-inch FHD+ E3 Super AMOLED 3D Borderless Sense Screen which is curved 55.9°, comes with 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate and 92.1% screen-to-body ratio. It has a single punch-hole that houses a 32-megapixel front camera and comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner that can unlock the phone in 0.34 seconds.
