realme 5 Pro realme UI Software Update Tracker [Update: C.07 with September Android security patch, Super Nighttime Standby, Deep Clean]


realme launched the realme 5 Pro smartphone in India running ColorOS 6.0 realme edition on top of Android 9.0 (Pie), which was later introduced as realme Q in China. The smartphone has already received Android 10 based realme UI 1.0 update. realme has already confirmed that realme 5 Pro will receive Android 11 based realme UI 2.0  update in Q2 2021.

realme UI brings new features such as dual earphone connection, animated wallpapers, screen-off display, customizable icon shape, new charging animation, realme Share (cross-brand file-sharing technology) and more. realme UI updates rolled out for the realme 5 Pro so far,

  • [Sep 23, 2020]: realme has started rolling out RMX1971EX_11_C.07 with September Android security patch. The update weighs 467MBs in size, brings an all-new Super nighttime standby feature, and improved standby performance, both of which can be found under realme lab section. The update adds a default audio recording device option, a new Deep Cleanup feature with improved background cleaning ability, a return button in screenshot preview, an automatic download option for app updates when connected to Wi-Fi, time display options for the status bar, shortcuts at the bottom of security settings, shortcuts at the bottom of other settings, OTG switch, auto-scrolling feature in scrolling screenshot and the feature of long-press the icon to uninstall the app in the drawer mode. The update also brings several optimizations such as optimized pop-up window for system updates notification, optimized “Mute-Bell-Vibrate” icon state along with bug fixes including issues with scrolling screenshot, the font size issue of charging animation, the issue while using front camera in SLO-MO mode, the issue that the fingerprint names are set to default when restarting the system in Multi-User mode and more.
