I love installing new themes on my phones, as they let me personalize them to my taste as well as change the look of my device much more frequently, instead of actually paying to buy a new device. Fortunately, Nokia & Symbian theme developers are abundant, and there are a lot of really great ones out there, some who offer their themes for free. One such themer is Larsson from S60Art, and he’s good, really good.
His latest theme, Water Spirit, takes his know-how to new levels, thanks to a great blue background that lights up your screen, fully transparent icon and text borders (which is something I’ve been craving for on my N97 Mini), and a set of custom icons. The whole effect is an elegant theme, that makes you fall back in love with your phone, no matter how old or used it is. Here are some screenshots of Water Spirit on my N97 Mini.

I’m back with another brand new Picture Gallery for you, this time i took the HTC HD mini for a spin. The HTC HD mini is a small, very handy Windows Mobile Phone, with HTC Sense UI on top. It has a 600MHz processor, a 3,2″ capacitive touchscreen with 480×320 resolution, a 5 megapixel camera, 1200 mAh Battery and a very nice hardware body. Yesterday we saw Oracle suing Google over 7 different patent and copyright infringements, which is related to Android and Java. As we know that Oracle acquired Java maker Sun Microsystems last year, and now Java is their property. We were waiting for Google to come out and give a strong reply to Oracle, and they did. Have a look on what Google is saying:
“We are disappointed Oracle has chosen to attack both Google and the open-source Java community with this baseless lawsuit. The open-source Java community goes beyond any one corporation and works every day to make the web a better place. We will strongly defend open-source standards and will continue to work with the industry to develop the Android platform.”
Not only Google is disappointed, all the Android and Google lovers are disappointed. Google is trying their best to defend its mobile OS from the Oracle attack. May be Oracle will be replying to Google regarding the issue soon if they want to continue the legal war. May be Oracle is out of money, so that’s why they are suing Google for some money like they sued Microsoft in 2004, and got $1.6 Billion to resolve the issue. Lets see if Google can stop Oracle’s accusations by defending Android and proving the lawsuit wrong, or are they going to give out some good cash to Oracle to resolve the issue. So stay tuned folks.
