Thanks to evleaks, press renders for the both the Nokia Lumia 720 and Lumia 520 are now out. These phones would be the successors of the Lumia 710 and the Lumia 510 respectively. Hands-on: Ubuntu for Phones on Nexus 4

Canonical released the Ubuntu Developer Preview for phones and tablets few hours back, and we installed it on the Google Nexus 4. Ubuntu showed off the Ubuntu for phones running on the Galaxy Nexus at the International CES 2013 last month. The Ubuntu OS for phones intuitive gesture-based User Interface that offers completely new user experience, right from the lock screen. You can just swipe to from right to left to unlock the screen. The screen shows graphical representation of several things, for example the orangeness increases based on the volume of tweets.

Lava Iris 502 with 5-inch display, Android 4.1 now available for Rs. 8499

Lava Iris 502, a new Dual SIM Android  smartphone is now available from online retailer Saholic. It has a 5.0-inch (480 x 800 pixels) capacitive touch screen display similar to the Lava Iris N501 that was launched earlier this year, but this runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It is powered by a 1 GHz processor and comes with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP front-facing camera. LG Optimus G launching in Europe this month

LG has announced that that the Optimus G would be available in European countries starting from this month. The Optimus G global roll out started last month and announced that the device would be available in over 50 countries including Latin America, Asia, CIS, Middle East and Africa worldwide by Q1 2013. Ubuntu Developer Preview for Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, 7 and 10 now available

Canonical has finally released the developer preview of Ubuntu Touch Developer Preview for phones and tablets as they promised. All you need is a computer running on Ubuntu OS and any of these Nexus devices, the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, Nexus 7 or the Nexus 10. There are images and complete instructions for installation. Videocon A27 Dual SIM Smartphone with 4-inch display, Android 4.0 launched for Rs. 5999

Videocon has released their new Android smartphone, the Videocon A27. It has a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz Broadcom processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has dual SIM support with dual standby, comes with a 3MP rear camera and also packs a VGA front-facing camera for video calling over 3G. LG Optimus G Pro Dual Recording and VR Panorama features shown off in new videos

LG unveiled the Optimus G Pro last week and detailed the features of the smartphone earlier this week. LG has released new videos on their Korean YouTube channel that shows off Dual Recording and VR Panorama camera features. ZTE to launch Tegra 4-powered Smartphones by mid-2013


ZTE has announced that they would launch smartphones that are powered by the latest Nvidia Tegra 4 processors. Nvidia announced the Tegra 4 processor with 72 GPU cores and 4 ARM A15 CPU cores at the CES 2013 last month. The Tegra 4 chip supports 4G LTE voice and data through Icera i500 modem, and ZTE also have plans to launch LTE smartphone with LTE support . LG Optimus F5 and Optimus F7 with 4G LTE, dual-core processor, Android 4.1 announced

LG has finally announced the Optimus F Series phones. LG started teasing a new Optimus series for the MWC 2013 earlier this month. These phones have 4G LTE support and would offer premium user experience for the mass market. The LG Optimus F5 has a 4.3-inch (960 × 540 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 1.2 GHz Dual-Core processor and the Optimus F7 has a 4.7-inch (1280 × 720 pixels) True HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor. SwiftKey 4 for Android with SwiftKey Flow released

SwiftKey has released SwifKey 4 as an update for Android that combines the SwiftKey Flow with gliding input. SwiftKey Flow Beta was first introduced back in December, and it got a major update last month. SwiftKey has announced that the app has been test by over 200,000 SwiftKey fans, with more than 2.4 billion characters flowed. In addition to SwiftKey Flow with mixed tap input, the new version also brings better personalization, easier corrections, support for 60 languages and more. Hands on with the HTC One

HTC have been having a rough couple of quarters to say the least. Falling marketshare, dwindling margins and revenue, vanishing stock price compounded by a domineering samsung in the Android space has been hard on them. Yet, they’ve managed to release top device after top device, all to find that the market hasn’t been as taken by their devices as the technology media have. HTC One Price Revealed in UK

HTC One Price
Clove UK has revealed the price for the unlocked version of the just announced HTC One which is a flagship device from the Taiwanese phone maker with an excellent design and premium hardware. HTC has not joined the Megapixel war by cranking up more Megapixels on the Camera sensor but has taken a different approach known as UltraPixel which you can read about here.HTC did not reveal an exact market release date for the One handset or the price.

HTC One with 4.7-inch 1080p Display and UltraPixel Camera announced

HTC has finally announced the HTC One, their new flagship Android smartphone. It has a 4.7 inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) with the new HTC Sense UI and HTC BlinkFeed. It has an UltraPixel camera on the back with LED Flash and a 2.1MP HD front-facing camera with 88 wide angle lens with HDR capability. It comes with Beats audio support, Dual frontal stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers and dual microphones.
