ZTE Open with Firefox OS, 1 GHz processor announced

ZTE has announced the ZTE Open with Mozilla Firefox OS. It is just an entry-level smartphone with a 3.5-inch (480×320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, 1GHz MSM7225A Snapdragon S1 processor. It has a 3.2MP fixed focus camera and packs a 1200 mAh battery. The Firefox OS has integrated Facebook and Twitter apps,. You can download more apps from the Firefox Marketplace. Sony Xperia Tablet Z to roll out globally from Q2 2013

Sony unveiled the Xperia Tablet Z in Japan last month. Here at MWC 2013 the company did not announced any new devices, but announced that it would roll out globally in Q2 2013. The Xperia Tablet Z has a 10.1-inch HD (1920 x 1200 pixels) WUXGA Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2, Shatter proof sheet on scratch-resistant glass and has unique OmniBalance design similar to the Xperia Z smartphone.  It has S-Force Front Surround 3D, Clear Audio+ mode and  two in-built speakers for enhanced audio output. Asus fonepad with 7-inch IPS display, 3G voice calling, 1.2 GHz Intel Atom processor announced

Asus has announced the most rumored fonepad finally at the MWC 2013 in Barcelona. It comes with a 7-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display, runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Intel Atom Z2420 processor. It has a 3 MP rear camera with 720p video recording and a 1.2 MP front-facing camera. It has metallic finish and comes with 3G support with voice calling features. Nokia Lumia 720 with 4.3-inch display, 1 GHz dual-core processor announced

Nokia has announced at Lumia 720, their new smartphone in the Lumia range running the latest Windows Phone 8 OS at the MWC 2013. It comes with a 4.3-inch  (800 x 480 pixels) ClearBlack display and is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Lenovo S6000 Photo Gallery

In an event ahead of the Mobile World Congress, Lenovo annouced three new tablets. The highest end of those is the S6000 which sports a 10.1 inch screen. The screen is of the IPS variety and has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

Samsung Galaxy Camera price drops to Rs. 26000


Samsung has cut the price of the Android Jelly Bean-powered Galaxy Camera, which  is now available for Rs.26,000 in India. The Samsung Galaxy Camera was announced at IFA, Berlin last August and  launched in India last November for Rs. 29,900.
