Asus MeMO Pad 7-inch tablet running Android 4.1 announced


Asus has announced the MeMo Pad, their new affordable 7-inch tablet after the CES 2013. The Asus MeMO Pad has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive multi-touch display and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), similar to the Acer Iconia B1-A71 that was announced at CES last week, but this tablet is powered by a 1GHz WonderMedia PRIZM WM8950 processor instead of a dual-core Mediatek processor. It has a 1MP front-facing camera with BSI sensor, 720p HD video capture at 30 fps. It has non-slip diamond-patterned finish at the back.

The Asus MeMo Pad would come in Sugar White,Titanium Gray and Cherry Pink colors and would go on sale in select markets starting from this January starting at a Manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $149.
