AT&T To Offer Three New Windows Phone Mango Devices In Q4 2011

AT&T recently announced that the company will offer 3 new smartphones running on the new Windows Phone 7.5 OS, code-named as “Mango”. The new phones are Samsung Focus S, HTC Titan and Samsung Focus Flash.

AT&T currently offers 4 smartphones based on the Windows Phone 7 Operating System – HTC HD7S, HTC Surround, LG Quantum and Samsung Focus. AT&T recently announced that, the company will offer 3 new smartphones running on the new Windows Phone 7.5 OS, code-named as “Mango”. The new phones are Samsung Focus S, HTC Titan and Samsung Focus Flash. Existing Windows Phone 7 customers will get the much awaited Mango update during this fall. IDC : Mobile Market in Western Europe Q2 2011 – Samsung, Apple, HTC top Smartphone vendors by shipments


According to recent report by research firm IDC (International Data Corporation), the Smartphone sales in Western Europe is more than the feature phone sales in Q2 2011. The feature phone shipments were down at 29% to 20.4 million units in 2Q11, while smartphone shipments increased 48% to 21.8 million units compared to Q2 2010. Bada 2.0 coming to all Samsung Wave devices

Samsung’s twitter account has let out the news that Bada 2.0 will be rolled out to all Samsung Wave devices including the low end Wave 525 , 523 models. The new version of Bada will be available starting Quarter 4 in Europe.

Bada 2.0 update for Samsung Wave devices coming soon

Earlier today the official Samsung Bada twitter account tweeted that they will be updating all the wave devices to Bada 2.0 in Q4. The devices in Europe will be the first to get updated starting from next month.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 gets banned in Germany

Apple has been behind companies manufacturing Android devices from a long time, they have sued every manufacturer having Android devices in their portfolio. Just last month Apple had filed an Injunction against the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 which was valid only in Germany, today the Dusseldorf court has said that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 does infringe some of Apple’s patents.

Samsung brings ‘Pure Breeze’ launcher to Android

Samsung labs have just released a new launcher app for Android based phones. Called ‘Pure Breeze’ the app replaces the default homescreen and allows users to organize their apps, groups, and tasks, and create shortcuts.

Samsung announces Galaxy Note

Samsung has announced the Galaxy Note with the 5.3 inch HD Super AMOLED display, the largest display on any phone till date. It runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and features 1.4GHz dual-core processor. It has advanced pen-input technology, called the S Pen that provides uniquely accurate level of control and finesse that could be used for sketching and artwork. Samsung just sent a chill down our spine by launching the Samsung Galaxy Note- an Android Phone with a 5.3 inch display ! If you thought the Galaxy S2 had a big display ? Get ready for a bigger display. I’m not sure how many of us can grip a 5.3 inch phone in one hand ! The specs seem pretty impressive with a 1.4 GHz Dual Core Processor , 5.3 inch HD SuperAMOLED Plus display (1280×960 pixels resolution) and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread.  There is a 8MP camera on the back and a 2MP camera on the front. It weighs 100grams and  is 12.3mm thick. And it comes with a pen called S Pen so that you can scribble on the mini football ground in your hands ! Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 Revealed in Photos

The folks at SammyHub have posted the first photos of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 which seems like a 7.7 inch Android  Honeycomb tablet. From what we can see , it runs on Android Honeycomb , sports a 7.7 inch display with no physical menu keys and includes a 3.5 mm audio jack on the top.
