vivo X300 and X300 Pro to be announced on October 13

After rumours, vivo has confirmed the launch of X300 and X300 Pro smartphones in the X300 series at an event in China on October 13th. This comes ahead of the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC launch later today that will power the phones.

Regarding the design, vivo’s product manager Han Boxiao said:

The vivo X300 series boasts invisible design technology, exemplified by its deco lens design, featuring suspended water droplets carved from cold-sculpted glass. While this powerful image is incredibly smooth under your fingertips, it’s completely painless.

The Lucky Color and Wilderness Brown color schemes are inspired by nature. Holding the real thing in your hand is both beautiful and subtly comforting. The velvety glass is clear, smooth, and non-slip, and even more comfortable than the images suggest.

The company already confirmed that the phone will be the first to use dual UFS 4.1 4Lane, the X300 Pro will use LYT828 main camera, the X300 will use the first 200MP HPB main camera, and the same 200MP HPB will be used as the periscope sensor in the Pro, and these will also use the first ultrasonic fingerprint 2.0.

The entire X300 series boast Zeiss 50MP ultra-clear AF front camera with a 92-degree wide-angle lens and autofocus.

The vivo X300 is the official successor to the X200 Pro mini. While the name doesn’t include a suffix, the X300 boasts a 6.31-inch 8T LTPO display.

vivo will also introduce the vivo WATCH GT 2, featuring the company’s first in-house developed Blue OS 3 and a 33-day battery life, the vivo TWS 5 and vivo TWS 5 HiFi Edition, featuring 60dB active noise cancellation, with the HiFi Edition featuring the X300 series’ first exclusive full-link HiFi Master feature; and the vivo Pad5e, powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, a 12.1-inch soft-light display.

We should know more details in the coming weeks before the phones go offical next month.
