Samsung India launched the Galaxy S3 Smartphone in India at Rs.43180 and pre-order customers had to purchase it Rs.42500 which was a little higher than the market price of around Rs.38900.if you were one of the customers who had pre-ordered the Samsung Galaxy S3 on Samsung India’s eStore and purchased it , good news for you. Samsung has sent out mails to customers who had purchased the Galaxy S3 on the eStore with a coupon worth Rs.1500. the company says in the mail that they are “overwhelmed with the response of Galaxy S III on the eStore.”

Samsung Galaxy S III coming to 5 US carriers starting in June

Samsung has officially announced that the Samsung Galaxy S III would be available from AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and U.S. Cellular starting in June. It would come 4.8-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 2.0 to guard against cracks and scratches and is powered by Snapdragon S4 Dual Core 1.5 GHz processor. Samsung launched the S3 in India yesterday at an MRP of Rs. 43,180, which seemed too costly. But in reality the MRP (Maximum Retail Price) is much higher than the MOP (Market Operating Price). The MOP for the Galaxy S3 is expected to be between Rs.37000 to Rs. 39000. Samsung has released the kernel source code for the international version of the Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300), few days after launching the phone. It has released the source code even before the Galaxy S3 hits the customers worldwide. Samsung has announced Galaxy R Style (SHV- E170S/K/L), LTE-enabled Android smartphone in South Korea. It is powered by 1.5GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) along with Samsung TouchWiz UI. It has 4.3 inch SUPER AMOLED display and 5MP camera with LED Flash. Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy S2 sales surpass 50 million globally


Samsung has announced that the combined sales (to channels and distributors) of Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy S2 has crossed 50 million globally. Samsung Galaxy S that was launched in June 2010 sold 24 million units and the Samsung Galaxy S2 sales crossed 28 million units, 13 months after its debut. Samsung Galaxy Note that was launched last October topped 7 million units in just 7 months. It crossed the 5 million mark in March. Samsung Galaxy S3 with 2GB RAM, LTE, Snapdragon S4 processor coming to Canada on June 20


Samsung has officially announced that the Galaxy S3 would be available in Canada starting from 20th June. It has 4.8-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by Snapdragon S4 Dual Core 1.5 GHz instead of Exynos 4 Quad. It would come in 2 versions, SGH-i747 with LTE support and SGH-iT999 with HSPA+ 42 support. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with TouchWiz with Motion UX. Samsung Galaxy S III launched in India for Rs. 43,180


Samsung has launched the Galaxy S III in India. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S III earlier this month at an Event in London and the pre-booking started in India on Samsung eStore couple of weeks back. The Galaxy S III packs in 4.8 inch (720 x 1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display, 1.4GHz Quad-Core processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310 Unboxing

Back in March this year Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab 2 310 at Samsung Forum in Thailand. The device is a 7 inch Android tablet running on latest version of Android 4.0 ICS and packs 16GB of internal memory.It supports both 4G and WiFi functionality. Galaxy S3 Pebble Blue version delayed due to quality standards says Samsung

Samsung launched the Galaxy S3 in 28 countries in Europe, Middle East, and North Africa today, but only the Marble White version would be available most of these regions. Samsung has sent a official statement to MobileFun that it is delayed since it did not meet internal quality standards in the Pebble Blue version that comes with newly invented blue colour and special hyper-glaze material.  We already told you that the Pebble Blue version is delayed in India and is expected only in second week of June. Samsung Galaxy S2 Android 4.0 update starts rolling out in India

Samsung has finally started rolling out the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update in India. Samsung announced the list of devices that would receive the Android 4.0 update last December and started rolling out ICS update for Galaxy S2 in Europe earlier this March. The Samsung Galaxy Note started receiving ICS update last week in India. They started shipping Galaxy S2 with ICS in India earlier this month.
