Nokia has sent out an invite to several media outlets for a launch event in London , UK happening on May 14.The invite says that the “Nokia Lumia Story Continues” on May 14th. The previous major Lumia launch happened at MWC in Barcelona where the company launched the Lumia 520 and Lumia 720 which are already available in India.

Nokia unveiled the Lumia 920, their latest flagship device that runs on the Windows Phone 8 back in September. Here we have the unboxing. The box looks similar to the boxes of the previous Lumia devices. The device has a 4.5-inch (1280 × 768 pixels) Pure Motion HD+ IPS display with 332 PPI pixel density and 600 Nits brightness. It is one of the best smartphone displays . It is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor.

The Nokia Lumia 920 is here at FoneArena and it is definitely a beast ! It is one of the most heavy Nokia phones ever made but also one of the best Windows Phones in the the market today. We had a chance to take the Cyan Nokia Lumia 920 for a spin and we decided to bring a photo gallery of the handset.
Nokia just announced today that it has begun shipping its first Windows Phone 8 devices in select markets to operators and retail outlets and it will go on sale in UK and France later this week.Russia and Germany would be getting the Lumia 920 and 820 after that. Several other countries including India will see the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 being launched sometime in November ( no exact date or price yet). China Mobile, the world’s largest telecom carrier with over 660 million subscribers, has agreed to launch the Nokia Lumia 920 on its network. Nokia revealed that its flagship Windows Phone 8 smartphone will be available on the Chinese operator. The phone will support the TD-SCDMA infrastructure used in China.

Microsoft’s long awaited next generation mobile OS, Windows Phone 8 has finally been signed off for RTM. RTM here stands for Release to Manufacturing. This means that the OS is now code-complete and just needs to undergo testing on carriers and phones before being launched on devices.
Nokia announced the Lumia 920 and 820 as the newest members of its Lumia range of devices. Running on Windows Phone 8, we got a chance to get a feel for the hardware. As the operating system still isn’t ready, we can’t really give you an idea of that but lets take a look at some of the other aspects.
This might be the Nokia Lumia 920 , the first Nokia Windows Phone to run on Windows Phone 8 and feature PureView Camera technology. When Nokia launched the PureView 808 running on Symbian earlier this year, it was not clear why Nokia would launch a Symbian phone with latest camera technology in 2012 when it’s primary focus was on Windows Phone . Looks like we should be seeing a Nokia Windows Phone with PureView Camera technology soon.The leak talks about a 4.5 inch Lumia 920 and we can see Carl Zeiss branding on the back . The lens and flash arrangement seems similar to the Nokia N9 and Lumia 900 and slightly different from the Lumia 800.The phone will mostly run on Microsoft Windows Phone 8. The same source which posted some photos of HTC’s upcoming tablet has now shared purported pictures of 2 upcoming Nokia Lumia smartphones. The image above points to Nokia Lumia 820 with a 4.3 inch screen. The handset seems to carry multiple colours ranging from the usual black and white to yellow, red, grey,blue and violet.
