LG has announced Volt, a variant of LG Spirit that was announced ahead of MWC in February. It has a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). It packs an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1-megapixel front-facing camera. It has 3000mm radius curve offering sleeker, more attractive profile. It also comes with 4G LTE-A support. LG has launched a new consumer campaign for its upcoming flagship, the LG G4. As a part of this, LG will offer the G4 smartphone for 4,000 lucky consumers in 15 countries to try it out before its launch on April 28th. The Try LG G4 campaign starts today in Korea and will start in Turkey, Indonesia, Singapore, United States, China, India, Brazil, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Mexico, Japan and Hong Kong in coming days. LG releases first G4 video teaser showing its F 1.8 camera

LG Mobile has released the first teaser video for its upcoming LG G4 smartphone. It also reveals that the camera will have f/1.8 aperture, offering better low light performance. The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge’s 16-megapixel camera have f/1.9 aperture and the HTC One M9‘s 20-megapixel camera has f/2.2 aperture. The LG G3 has a f/2.4 lens. The company did not reveal the sensor size or the maker of the camera sensor yet. According to earlier leaks it is expected to feature a 16-megapixel rear camera. LG has introduced its LG UX 4.0 for its upcoming flagship smartphone, the LG G4 that will be unveiled on April 28th. The LG UX 4.0 will have easy-to-use interface and offer high level of functionality through user settings, says the company. As you can see from the image, this is based on Android Lollipop. The UX 1.0 brought Q memo and Q Slide, UX 2.0 introduce Knock On, Knock Code and Quick Cover support and last year’s UX 3.0 on the LG G3 introduced Gesture Shot and Touch and Shoot, the new UX 4.0 brings Quick Shot, New camera modes, new gallery, Smart Notice and more. LG Display announces 5.5-inch Quad HD display, to be used in LG G4

LG Display  has introduced a 5.5-inch QHD (Quad High Definition) IPS display panel for mobile devices. LG display has confirmed that the new Quad HD LCD panel will be unveiled with the forthcoming LG’s flagship smartphone to be launched at the end of the month. It is clear that the LG G4 scheduled to be unveiled on April 28th will use this display. Even the LG G3 used a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, but this will offer richer and more accurate colors with a 120 percent color gamut, compared to the 100 percent gamut that was present in the LG G3’s display , says LG Display. LG offers free G3 VR headset with G3 smartphone in the US

LG partnered with Google to introduce VR for G3 that works with Google Cardboard to offer virtual reality experience to the G3 users back in February. At that time the company said that it will offer the VR headset for free for customers who purchase new LG G3 smartphone in select markets. Now the company has announced that the VR headset will be available for free while purchasing G3 through participating stores. LG has started sending press invites for the launch of its next flagship G series smartphone next month. The invite just says See the Great. Feel the Great with highlighted using LG’s logo used for G series smartphones. There are several events worldwide, similar to LG G3 launch events. The event takes place in New York, London and Paris simultaneously on April 28th, Tuesday and events in Seoul, Singapore and Istanbul are scheduled for Wednesday, April 29th. LG Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy global roll out begins

LG has announced that it has started rolling out its Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy mid-range smartphones globally. These smartphones were announced ahead of MWC, run on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and come with LTE and 3G versions depending on the market. All these except the entry-level LG Joy have G3-like rear buttons for power and volume controls and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for better selfies.
