LG has unveiled the QuadBeat 3 (HSS-F630) premium earphones, successor of the LG QuadBeat 2 that was first introduced with the LG G2 back in 2013. In what can only be understood as miscommunication or perhaps a last minute licensing deal by LG, the company has sent word that the phone now officially supports the rapid charging standard. Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology enables a 0% to 60% charge in under 30 minutes. LG G Flex 2 goes on sale in India for Rs. 54990

LG launched its G Flex 2 smartphone in India at the LG Tech Show in Delhi back in March. Today the company has announced that the second generation G Flex smartphone is available across India. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p curved P-OLED display and the smartphone can bend ranging from a radius of 400mm to 700mm across the front, back, sides and top-to-bottom edges. LG Q1 2015 profits down 36.2% YoY, 15.4 million smartphones shipped

LG Electronics has reported revenues of 13.99 trillion won (US$ 12.72 billion) in Q1 2015, an increase of just 0.04% compared to the same quarter last year with operating profit of 305.2 billion won (US$ 277.45 million), down 36.2 percent from the same period the previous year. Net profit was 38.4 billion won (US$35.9 million) during the quarter, down from 92.5 billion won a year earlier. LG Magna (LG-H502F), the company’s latest mid-range smartphone is now available in India from retail stores, according to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom. It was announced back in February ahead of MWC 2015 and packs a 5-inch HD display and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). The Indian variant is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Android Wear just got an update recently that brought in a lot of new features. One of the main additions was the Wi-Fi support. Having Wi-Fi enabled on your smartwatch is a really nice feature to have but apparently the LG G Watch will not be getting Wi-Fi support even with the new update.

Sony Xperia E4g Dual with 4G LTE launched in India for Rs. 13290

Sony has launched Xperia E4g Dual, the company’s latest 4G smartphone in India. It was announced back in February ahead of MWC and packs a 4.7-inch qHD IPS display, is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6732 64-bit SoC and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It also have NFC support. Sony launched the Xperia E4 dual smartphone in India last month.
