Huawei has announced Mate S, the company’s latest smartphone in the Mate series at the IFA, as expected. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED  display, is powered by a Octa-Core HiSilicon Kirin 935 SoC based on big.LITTLE configuration and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with Emotion UI 3.1 on top. It has a force touch display that perceives different levels of pressure on the screen, allowing the user to complete different actions such as zooming in to a photo or launching an app by applying pressure. Huawei MateS with Force Touch display surfaces in press shots and live images ahead of IFA announcement

Huawei had been teasing its upcoming smartphone focusing on touch for IFA announcement. Today @evleaks has posted press shots of the MateS smartphone in three colors and a fingerprint reader on the back. This clearly shows the date as September 2nd, which is tomorrow.

Huawei Honor 7 launched in European markets

Huawei introduced the Honor 7 smartphone in China last month, now the company has launched the international version of the smartphone in Europe. At the launch George Zhao, president of honor said that honor will continue to invest in key markets such as India, Russia, the United Kingdom, Germany and France and the United States. The main highlight of the smartphone is the 13-megapixel camera with Sony sensor and dual-tone LED flash that can flip 180-degrees to the front so that you can use it as a front-facing camera for selfies.
