Huawei seems to be taking its dual camera game very seriously and that can be seen in the Mate 9 teaser image that has just been leaked.
Huawei has announced Mate 8, the company’s latest smartphone in the Mate series at an event in China, as it promised. It packs a 6-inch 1080p display with 2.7mm ultra narrow frame, 83% screen-to-body ratio and 2.5D glass, is powered by a Octa-Core HiSilicon Kirin 950 SoC with IntelliSense i5 sensor hub and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Emotion UI 4.0 on top. It has a 16-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX298 sensor, dual-tone LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), optical image stabilization (OIS) and uses Huawei’s own ISP. While the Huawei Mate 8 is just a few hours away from its November 26th announcement, we now have a new benchmark listing of a mysterious Huawei device. The listing could very well be that of the Huawei Honor 5X Plus.
The Huawei Mate 8 is shaping out to be a beast of a smartphone. Now, with these newly surfaced photos, the smartphone seems to be even more interesting as it has a nice sleek design with a high screen to body ratio.
A new Huawei handset has popped up on GFXBench under the alias NXT-AL10. The specifications do reveal a handset that is very similar to the rumoured specifications for the upcoming Mate 8 smartphone from Huawei.
Huawei has shared a teaser for the Mate 8 launch event which is scheduled to take place on November 26th. The smartphone is expected to pack the same Force Touch technology as its brother, the Mate S.
