Huawei has introduced Enjoy 5S, an enhanced version of the Enjoy 5 that was introduced back in October, in China. It has a 5-inch HD display, runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with Emotion UI 3.1 Lite, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the Enjoy 5, but this is powered by a faster 1.5 octa-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6753T processor, has 7.6mm slim full metal unibody design and also comes with a fingerprint sensor. Huawei Honor Band Z1 goes on sale in India for Rs. 5499

Huawei launched the Honor Band Z1, sleep and fitness tracking band in India last month. It has a 1.06 inch (128 x 128 pixels) OLED display, looks like a smartwatch and shows time. It has brushed metal bezel around the dial and doesn’t have any physical buttons. It works with both Android and iOS devices, shows message notifications and incoming call alerts. Huawei has announced Mate 8, the company’s latest smartphone in the Mate series at an event in China, as it promised. It packs a 6-inch 1080p display with 2.7mm ultra narrow frame, 83% screen-to-body ratio and 2.5D glass, is powered by a Octa-Core HiSilicon Kirin 950 SoC with IntelliSense i5 sensor hub and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Emotion UI 4.0 on top. It has a 16-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX298 sensor, dual-tone LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), optical image stabilization (OIS) and uses Huawei’s own ISP. Huawei Mate 8 with Kirin 950 SoC, 4GB RAM surfaces in benchmarks and live images

Huawei Mate 8 codenamed NXT-AL10 has appeared on AnTuTu revealing most of its specifications. It will be powered by Huawei’s latest Kirin 950 Octa-Core SoC that was introduced earlier this month. In AnTuTu, the 4GB RAM variant scores 79131 points, beating its competitors. It scores roughly between 76,000 and 79,000 points, according to AnTuTu. Kirin 950 has up to 2.3 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex 72 CPU + up to 1.8 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex A53 GPU and Mali T880 GPU.

Google announced the Huawei-made Nexus 6P smartphone back in September, and it was launched in India last month, starting at Rs. 39,999. We brought you the unboxing of the smartphone recently, here we have its benchmarks. It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit 20nm processor that has four bigger ARM Cortex A57 cores clocked at 1.96GHz per core and four smaller ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.56GHz per core and has Adreno 430 GPU. It has 3GB RAM, packs 5.7-inch Quad HD AMOLED display and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). Check out the synthetic benchmark scores.

Huawei Kirin 950 Octa-Core 16nm SoC with Mali T880 GPU announced

Huawei has announced Kirin 950 SoC at an event in Beijing today. It is an Octa-Core SoC with four ARM Cortex A72 Cores that can be clocked up to 2.53 GHz and four ARM Cortex A53 Cores that can be clocked up to 1.8 GHz. It is based on ARM’s big.LITTLE architecture so it can alternate between the Cortex A72 or A53 cores depending on the type of tasks.
