ASUS EeePad Transformer To Get Android 3.2 Update Tomorrow

ASUS recently tweeted that, the Android 3.2 update for this tablet will be rolled out from tomorrow. This update expected to come with compatability zoom for phone apps, support for microSD loading and other tablet-based optimizations.

Earlier this year, ASUS launched its first tablet device, the ASUS EeePad Transformer. This tablet runs on the Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) Operating System and it comes with a 10.1 WXGA display, 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 5 megapixel rear camera, etc. We have a good news for the owners of the ASUS EeePad Transformer. Motorola Atrix successor with 8MP camera and 1080p video recording coming soon ?

Photographs have just surfaced on the internet of an unknown variant of the Motorola Atrix. The device is said to be an updated version of the popular Motorola device. One of the biggest changes seems to be the new 8MP camera which is also capable of capturing 1080p video. A new dedicated camera key also finds a place on the body of the handset.

Mozilla B2G Announced : Web Centric Mobile OS

Mozilla today announced its plans to develop an open source mobile operating system. The OS will be focused primarily on web-apps. Dubbed B2G , the OS will make use of HTML5 capabilities to deliver basic phone functionality via various APIs.

Airtel has launched 3G services in Kerala. Airtel 3G services are now available across key cities including Kochi, Trivandrum and Calicut and will be rolled out in other in other major parts of the state in phased manner. BlackBerry Torch 2 and Blackberry Touch 9860 Spotted in Hands-on Videos

iOS 5 Adding Face Recognition Support

9to5 Mac reports that Apple is adding support for face recognition in iOS 5.0 .  The feature will be accessible via API calls by developers allowing for some very interesting applications. The site reports that one of the APIs allows for recognizing the position of the person’s eyes and mouth.

Vodafone 555 Blue ‘Facebook phone’ announced

Vodafone UK today announced the 555 Blue, a budget Facebook phone aimed at the masses.

The phone will feature a QWERTY monoblock design, 2.4″ touchscreen display with QVGA resolution, Bluetooth, FM radio, 2 Megapixel camera with LED flash and microSD card slot. It relies on 2.5G EDGE data for connection and will not feature any sort of 3G and WiFi connectivity. Like the HTC ChaCha, the 555 Blue will also have a dedicated Facebook button.
