The update gave Evernote much needed features including a freshened up design and homescreen. Today the company is rolling out a new update that adds some nifty features like pinned tool tiles.

TRAI issues new regulations for SMS termination charges to curb spam SMS


The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has imposed new SMS termination charges for retail consumers and commercial messages. Termination charge is paid by the operator where the SMS originates to the operator to which the message is delivered. TRAI did not set a particular charge for this hence some operators were charging 10 paise as termination charges. Now they have set the SMS termination charge as 2 paise for normal SMS and 5 paise on transactional SMS on operators from whom the SMS originates. Vertu, the luxury phone maker, has launched its first Luxury handset of 2013, called the Vertu Ti, after being acquired by European investment firm EQT. Vertu had been an integral part of Nokia for several years till the Finnish company decided to sell Vertu’s majority shares, last year. Nexus 4 spotted running Android 4.3 Jellybean

XDA forum user Chaleen has posted the above image found on a Nexus 4 in a mobile Expo in Thailand. The Android version number being 4.3 suggests that the newest iteration of Android, which was expected to be launched at the Google I/O a week back might actually be launched on the rumoured date of June 10th. Huawei launched the Ascend G510, the company’s latest mid-range Android smartphone in India earlier this month. We brought you the unboxing and the benchmarks of the device recently, here we have the complete review of the device. t has a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8225 processor. Samsung Galaxy Star officially launched in India for Rs. 5240


Samsung has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy Star (GT-S5282). It was announced last month along with the Galaxy Pocket Neo and went on sale online earlier this week. It  packs a 3-inch (320 x 240 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz  processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera,  2G (EDGE) support and has Dual SIM support with Smart Dual SIM feature that enables the user to receive calls on one SIM number while taking a call from the other. Samsung GT-I8800 Redwood running Tizen 2.1 surfaces

Samsung already confirmed that the company would launch Tizen-based device in 2013. Samsung GT-I9500 codenamed Fraser surfaced last year but it did not release. Now the Samsung GT-I8800 codenamed Redwood has surfaced on Tizen Greek Community website. The name of the device appeared online earlier this month along with the Samsung GT-i8805.
