Acer has just announced that Acer Iconia A1-830 tablet after teasing it for the past few days. It has a 7.9-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) LED-backlit IPS display with 178 degree viewing angle and 4:3 aspect ratio and is powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Z2560 processor with Hyper-Threading technology. It has a aluminum metal back cover and sturdy frame for enhanced durability and weighs 380 grams. Android version is not available yet, but it is likely to run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Last year Intel unveiled Quark X1000, a range of small SoCs aimed at wearables. CEO Brian Krzanich has revealed that Intel would unveil innovative wearables at CES, according to his interview with Recode. Intel would introduce new SoCs in the Quark chip family and a range third-party wearable devices powered by the Quark chip at CES in Las Vegas next week, says the CEO. Lenovo Vibe Z (K910), the company’s latest flagship smartphone surfaced in China back in October, and it was officially announced in November last year. Now the company has revealed the pricing for the LTE smartphone and announced that it would go on sale in select countries starting from February 2014. It packs in a 4.8-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super Clear Touch Display with 308 ppi, powered by a 1.6 GHz Quad-Core processor and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). This has a lightweight, retro design, has WiFi and NFC but lacks 4G LTE or 3G support that was present in the first camera.
