HONOR 600 and 600 Pro with Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 / Dimensity 8550, up to 8600mAh battery to be introduced in China on May 25

HONOR introduced the HONOR 600 and the HONOR 600 Pro smartphones for the global market at an event in Malaysia last month, and it was launched in the UK earlier this month. Now the phone is all set to launch in China on May 25th.

The HONOR 600 series phones will feature a triple-color design and are the first in the industry to utilize a dual magnetic closure process. This new series represents a revolution in three key areas: color scheme, craftsmanship, and overall feel.

The new flagship color for the HONOR 600 series, “Lucky Star,” has already been officially announced. It will also come in Obsidian Black, Green Apple, and Light Feather Blue colors. The design is also different from the global version of the HONOR 600 series with a single camera bar housing dual cameras in the standard model and triple cameras in the Pro model.

The phones are expected to retain the 6.57-inch 1.5K OLED 120Hz display and the 200MP camera. The HONOR 600 is said to retain the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, but the HONOR 600 Pro is said to use the Dimensity 8550 SoC instead of the Snapdragon 8 Elite in the global model.

These are also expected to get bigger batteries. The HONOR 600 said it packs an 8600mAh battery, and the HONOR 800 Pro is said to get an 8000mAh battery compared to the 7000mAh battery for both in the global model.

We should know the price of the phones when these go official later this month.
