Meizu just announced M5s, an upgraded version of last year’s m3s  smartphone an event in China, as it had promised. It packs a 5.2-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with FlyMe OS 6.0 on the top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) that lets you focus in just 0.2 seconds and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. HMD Global already confirmed that it will introduce new Nokia Android smartphones at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona on February 26th. A new report this week said that it will introduce Nokia 5, Nokia 3 and a modern version of the Nokia 3310. It mentioned some specifications of the Nokia 5, but it missed out specifications of the Nokia 3, now a new rumor details the specifications of the budget Nokia smartphone. HTC reports $100 million loss in Q4 2016, revenue down 13% YoY

HTC today reported a net loss of NT$ 3.1 billion ($100 million) or loss of NT$3.77 per share, on revenue of NT$ 22.2 billion ($720.7 million) for its fiscal 2016 fourth quarter that ended December 31, 2016. This is the seventh consecutive loss for the company. Operating profit was down 12.1% year-on-year to NT$ 3.6 billion ($116.8 million) with operating margin of -16.0%. We already know that Sony is expected to introduce several mid-range smartphones at the MWC 2017. We had seen some live images of a Sony smartphone recently. A recent report said that might announce five Xperia smartphones at the event. Now a Sony smartphone codenamed Pikachu has surfaced in GFXBench and AnTuTu listing.
