nubia has launched nubia Z11 miniS, the company’s latest smartphone in India, It was introduced at the end of last year and packs a 5.2-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with nubia UI 4.0. Qualcomm at an event in Delhi announced its new Qualcomm 205 Mobile Platform to bring 4G LTE connectivity and 4G services to entry-level feature phones. It includes the Qualcomm 205 SoC, which encompasses the baseband functionalities, plus hardware components including RF front end, discrete Wi-Fi, power management, audio codec, speaker amplifier, and software for a comprehensive mobile solution. Qualcomm also showed off a VoLTE feature phone with a keyboard developed by FIH/Megafone, similar to the Lava 4G Connect M1. Couple of months after Vodafone confirming merger talks with Aditya Birla Group’s telecom arm Idea Cellular, Board of Directors of Idea Cellular at its meeting held today, 20th March have approved amalgamation of Vodafone India Limited (VIL) and its wholly owned subsidiary Vodafone Mobile Services Limited (VMSL) with Idea. The combined market share of both the telecom operators add up to 43%, making it the largest telecom firm, surpassing Airtel.

First press render of the Galaxy S8 smartphone surfaced earlier this month showing its curved screen with narrow bezels and an iris scanner. Now more press shots of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus have surfaced, thanks to @evleaks once again. These images show the phone in Black Sky, Orchid Grey and Arctic Silver colors. It also shows a metal frame and button placements, but the back side of the phone has been revealed in press shots yet. Apple launched the iPhone SE smartphone in India starting at Rs. 39,000 in India back in April last year. In September it got a Rs. 5000 price cut in the country unofficially. Now Flipkart is selling the phone starting at Rs. 29,999 and it is available from Amazon.in starting at Rs. 26,500. But Kerala-based retailer ITNET Infocom today tweeted that it is offering the 16GB version for just Rs. 19,999, which is Rs. 19,000 cheaper than MRP and 64GB version for Rs. 25,999, which is Rs. 23,000 cheaper than MRP.

Nintendo released Super Mario Run for iPhone and iPad on December 15th, and the iOS app clocked record 40 million downloads in 4 days of its release. At the end of December the company started pre-registrations for the Android version on Google Play so that you can get notified when the game releases. It packs a 5.2-inch 1080p 2.5d curved glass display on the front and also has a glass back. It has a metal frame, is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 658 processor, which is an upgraded version of the Kirin 655. It runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with Emotion UI 5.1 on the top, similar to the P10.
